i've always wanted to see what would happen if babolat made a pure storm with a 18x20 string pattern and 90-93 inch head...that'd be killer...anyone else have any "racquet wishes"

Nah, probably not. It would destroy their image. Kinda like when you've made a reputation of being that quiet, nice guy, but then you suddenly crack a bad, awkward joke. PPPTHHHHHHHHHH down it goes!

they won't. theres not enough demand in the tennis world for more mids. maybe on this board, but not in the rest of the world.

Babolat? I wonder if Prince or Head will ever make another mid. Perhaps one more generation of new-frame introduction, then there may not be enough interest to warrant it.

A 18x20 string pattern in a 90 sq. in. frame? Sounds awfully underpowered and boardy to me.

I am trying to find out. I am looking for a Yonex Ultimum Rd Ti-70.

88 sq. inches, with an 18x20.

I have not had much luck finding any, unless I order one from Belgium.

I wish for a midsize 16x18 Prestige. Heard rumors of this in the upcoming Microgel Prestige.

Babolat did come close to that. They made the Babolat Classic (distributed only in Europe): 95 sq. in., 21 cm. frame, 16x20

I wish for a Microgel prestige MP with a 19mm beam (unlikely...)

And yes, there will be a microgel prestige with a more open string pattern.
It will be called prestige pro, will have the same specs as the 630 an will have a 16x19 string pattern.

It will be called 'Pure Crap' like all their other frames

Hilarious!!

Who the hell wants to play with a midsize anyway? Now that rackets have got lighter, why would you want a small frame? Surely you just risk shanking a ball, when there is now no disadvantage to a larger head size due to weight etc. Seems to me that the only people who play with such small frames are people who are using old style rackets (ie with older/heavier technology.)
