mine is a 3 but I have 3 cheap wilson overgrips on top for a nice cushioned feel and a tournagrip overgip on top of that because they are the best grips.

after looking at your signature I am wondering if you have more than one of the same racket and if you are content with your rackets ever.

4 1/2 + an overgrip or two. Pretty small for the size of my hands but it's ok. I'd love to try one of slice bh compliments L6's

Technically, I should be using a 4 1/2, but I prefer 4 3/8 with an overgrip. I'm thinking of building it up a little with two overgrips come springtime, just to see how it feels.

Its "supposed" to be 5/8 or bigger based on the index finger rule but I like usinng a 1/4 with overgrip.

More rectangular Head grip 4 1/2 with TW 22x1.3mm leather + Tornagrip is my favorite.....I like firm feel with sharp bevel.

After getting used to Head, more square POG 4 1/2 with the same leather/ overgrip feels a bit too fat/ wide...I could probably use 4 3/8 with 1.5mm leather + torna and some elec tape layers to build up on just 2 sides to make it more rectangle like Head.

Hhaha, yeh, mine's ''supposed'' to be 5 and a quarter or 5 and 3/8, but that's just a little extreme.

Jonny F with a sixer! Try one, man. So solid even on the off center shots!

I use 4 and 3/8 or 4 and 1/2

4 and 3/8 for Prince (But can use 4 and 1/2)

4 and 1/2 for Dunlop

Other brands I usually err on the side of smaller, but in the end it really doesn't matter.

When I was a teenager and into my twenties playing with a Jack Kramer Pro Staff wood racquet, I used 4 and 5/8. In my thirties and forties playing with my trusty PS 6.0 85, I used 4 and 1/2. Now in my early fifties playing with a Wilson nPS 95, I use 4 and 3/8.

What gives?

dunlop 4 1/2 leather grip with a pro overgrip or super grap. i like a 5/8 too. weird because i have a really small hand for a guy, but if rosewall can use a 4 7/8 and he's only 5 foot 7 then i can use a 4 5/8. it's really stable on the volleys and i don't wrist my groundies so the small grip thing doesn't really do much for me.
