grommets for i.Prestige mid+

Those aren't CAPS grommets though, just a normal bumperguard and grommet set, so it will change the way your i.Prestige MP plays.

bummer... so why they say it's for the i.Prestige MP ? were there versions without the CAPS grommets ?
any idea where to find the proper CAPS ? I could try the big auction site I guess, but are there any other sources ?

The i.Prestige MP XL is the same mold a the i.Prestige MP, just an inch longer, so they are interchangeable. Since TW is sold out I'm not sure where else you could try -- maybe contact Head directly? Nobody has verified whether MG CAPS will fit or not either.

That I understand, but you also said that the grommet set TW sells (they are supposed to be back on stock 4/29) is not the full CAPS set but just bumper guard/regular grommets. So the XL version didn't have the CAPS ?
Contacting Head directly might be a good idea, I'll give it a shot.

Oh, sorry, I misunderstood. Yes, the XL version TW carries are normal bumpers. TW used to have another specifically for the i.Prestige MP that was CAPS.

i'm reasonably sure that you can still get the proper grommets for an i.prestige mp. just contact head

Thanks, not planning to. I didn't know the XL didn't have CAP so I assumed what TW carries now is good for both standard length and the XL... I'm glad I asked.
In any case, the grommets I have now are only scratched and not broken so it's not imperative I change them soon.
