Oh Snap! 22 pts. Head light

I was customizing my head heavy racquet (2 pts. HH) and now it is 22 points head light. That's right, 2.75" towards the butt cap. The feel is soft and great though. Is 22 a bit much?

I added 1.6 ounces to the handle with most of the weight at the bottom of the handle. I measured it with 17 gauge strings strung and it was 22 pts. HL. I don't feel anything when serving now, only if i just swing as hard as i can with no form whatsoever.

I guess the rest of your game was perfect...nothing left to do but experiment and make your stick 22 points headlight......spend the time practicing instead of using a gram scale-

I have a Pk 7g that was slightly off spec and it is 15 points HL with an Overgrip on. It plays great, just great.
If I could find another like that I would probably still play with them.

a hornet os at 22 pts headlight...

how much does it weigh....somewhere around 11 ounces? otherwise you'd never be able to hit with it...so headlight with low static weight, could get knocked out of your hands..

I knew a local pro that would build up the butt of the racquet to resemble the bottom of a roman sword. It was as though the balance point was somewhere within the length of the handle. He swore by it and let me hit with it. Not bad. I guess it takes a little getting used to.

Try to put the weight a little higher so it get close to the balance point and you should get an earth balance no that space gravity balance you have.
