This sounds oddly familiar... this thread.
The guy is top 10 now, it is mandatory that TTW knows the real specs of his racquet!
There is now: http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=222350lol.
Federer has been top 10 for couple of years, yet there is no definitive conclusion of what the hell he really used/uses.
Federer uses the retail K90 and has since 2002.
Almost all racquets will wobble when it hits the ball if you view it in extreme slo-mo, but I find the retail K90 to be a pretty flexy racquet relative to most racquets on the market today. I also find the K90 to be flexier than both the nCode 90 and PS Tour 90.Hey BP, I'm sure you've seen some of the slo-mo vids of Fed hitting forehands when his racket looks so flexy it wobbles like jelly. Do you think all K90s react like this or does he have a special material set up?
No trick question here, I'm curious that's all.
low tension strings sends higher amplitude vibrations into the frame instead of higher frequency vibrationsHey BP, I'm sure you've seen some of the slo-mo vids of Fed hitting forehands when his racket looks so flexy it wobbles like jelly. He uses the Ncode 6.1 version (K95 paint) with a full Alu Power string setup.

I'm not 100% but it looks like some kind of Wilson 95 square inch head with a K series pj.
It looks like the actual K factor why do you atuomatically assume it's something else?
Why do you assume it's NOT something else?
Non cynic I guess. Not everyone is a liar.

Seem to remember there was mention on a thread a while back that he used to use the Hyper Pro Staff 6.1 18x20, think there were pics showing that. Can't remember source.
So maybe HPS with paint job? Whatever it is, the guy knows how to smack a tennis ball hard and flat.
