Repainting my KPS88...

It's downright crazy or just plain stupid to destroy the KPS88 paintjob but after too numerous attempts at throwing the racquet across the court it was pretty scraped up. So I am attempting to repaint it. My digital camera is currently broken so I can't get pics yet but I will soon somehow. I think I am going to go with an anthracite paint scheme when I am done to match my cyberflash strings.

Cause at times it can be a bit frustrating to play with. Mick said it best "You can destroy weaker opponents, but it is very demanding against greater opponents." I figured if the paint job wasn't going to be perfect I might as well redo it to my liking. Furthermore, kfactor paint chips really easy so there were plenty of scuffs from everyday use.

Wow, given that the racquet has only been out a few weeks, you must play quite a bit and scrape it even more.

Show us pix of the before and after new paint job.

I actually find that the KPS88 paint to be top notch, much more durable than the others. I've scraped the sides on several low volleys and it has held up better than my k95.

Well, he says he throws his racket across the court (I'm assuming hard courts) so any racket is gonna look beat up.

Personally, I don't throw mine because I don't want to pay to replace my frames unless it's absolutely necessary and I don't want to ruin my grips. The feel of the grip is important to me.

Regardless if you pay for your racquets or not, anyone who throws their racquets should have them taken away from them.

I will be posting pictures soon. This a very interesting stick with the paint peeled off.
So... not only do you throw your brand new racquet, thus scratching it up, but you're actually PROUD enough of this behaviour to tell us all about it AND to want to post pictoral evidence of the results of your on-court tantrums.

Before thinking about painting your racquet, you should give some serious thought to growing up.

Growing up is for grown ups, but thanx anyways. I should have some pics posted in the morning. I have got the base coat on and I will be putting on the clearcoat tommorow. I am going with a graphite theme and so far I like the results. Furthermore, Wilson isn't paying me to play with their sticks so I refuse to advertise for them.

That's it - try to 'cleverly' justify your childish tantrums...

You're clearly too young to play with paint.

You're sounding cantankerous and out of touch (again)... enough pontificating

Let's see some pics! :)

"Out of touch" with what, exactly?
With the fact that kids today will do anything for attention? That they don't differentiate between positive and negative attention?

You're sounding clueless, again, Bud.

Doesn't it get tiring to always hold the simple-minded perspective?
