Also to point the conditions were very similar to indoors. Temperature was in the mid 60's with hardly any humidity. No wind either. Nalbandian would've been hurt much more if they played during the daytime.Nalbandian would of won if it wasn't for the fatigue caused by those long rallies with Nadal.
Nadal would beat anyone on a windy day, just like he did so to Murray. I think Murray would of won if it wasnt for the wind tho.
Murray doesn't play as aggressive as Nalbandian. No doubt it would've been closer but I would still favor Nadal. Nalbandian in perfect conditions is a nightmare for most players. In particular players that play behind the baseline a lot.Nadal would beat anyone on a windy day, just like he did so to Murray. I think Murray would of won if it wasnt for the wind tho.
this has always bothered me, how in the hell is nalbandian so good indoors. he has a very weak serve. clay should feel more comfortable?

It has more to do with Nalbandian feeling good then it has to do with the speed. Indoors is ideal conditions. No wind, low humidity, and no heat. Nalbandian's serve is good enough imo but it can fall apart. Less likely to do that indoors.this has always bothered me, how in the hell is nalbandian so good indoors. he has a very weak serve. clay should feel more comfortable?
His serve indoors is very effective seems to skid through and is hard to attack.
so playing on grass should be comfortable for nalbandian aswell? or the high toss is vulnerable outdoors?
Nalbandian is the best imo. Djokovic and Murray are the next 2 in there but rely more on their serve for success. Nalbandian relies on his baseline game solely.I don't know about best at changing direction I think that title should go to Djokovic.
Not really. He doesn't like the irregular bounces clay gives him. Basically he is mainly an indoor player as well as conditions close to indoors.maybe he just likes to hit high balls ??? . then he has a great chance at RG aswell against nadal.
But that's on HC, I don't see Nalbandian(even fit), as a threat to Rafa on clay. On clay, Nadal would destroy ANYONE...but you all know that.
i dont know, if nalbandian has his day( and fit). he can beat nadal on clay. because on clay nadals serve is more vulnerable, so he can attack first serves aswell.
My opinion "if nalbandian serves well, its impossible to beat him that day"
Hardcourts are the easiest surface to attack serves off of. Clay maximizes the spin. This makes it very hard to attack imo though it is easy to get in play from a defensive position.i dont know, if nalbandian has his day( and fit). he can beat nadal on clay. because on clay nadals serve is more vulnerable, so he can attack first serves aswell.

Theory wise that would sound right. I think Nadal has a little kick to his serve as well. It seems to get up pretty high on players backhands for being a slice. Also the movement is not as easy on clay. Hardcourt is a different game with much easier movement for the majority of players. An aggressive game relies a lot more on timing and little things like wind, irregular bounces, and heat seem to bother them more then a conservative player like Nadal. But it would be interesting to see Nadal against Nalbandian on Indoor clay.im sorry for that return statement, i didnt know clay maximizes spin
( slice, i know topspin is effective), ive read somewhere that slice serve's on clay are bad. but because clay is slower, the incoming serve is slower, so easier to attack.
Name me someone who DOESN'T struggle against Nalbandian. However somehow he always manage to lose at the end.
