I wonder how Wilson will market this racket..

I has been pretty much established that Federer actually uses the [K]90 with slight modifications isn't it? Wilson has been using this information as well in their ads I think, right?

I doubt that Federer will actually switch to a new racket next year. Actually I am sure he won't change. i wonder if wilson will say that the new racket is actually he racket Federer uses.

i was browsing roger's official website and clicked on the link to watch the youtube vid of the 2009 wimbledon rolex commercial AND i was really surprise to see that Roger uses a racquet with a different PJ when he appears wearing the watch...

you're right, there are a couple shots where the grip is black...

but you're wrong in saying it's a different PJ because the grip doesn't count.

fed does not use a k90, its a modified ps 6.1 tour 90. the k90 is a close approximation but no more than that.
pros do not have time to change racquets

The stringers at Priority 1 have confirmed that it is a retail K90 with a little bit of lead tape added under the bumper guard.

Wilson will be coming out with new frames in January, February and March of 2010, just as they've come out with new frames around that time frame for the last few years.

I just had a meeting with a couple guys from Wilson about their clothing and shoes for 2010, and I asked them if they had seen anything yet regarding their new frames. They told me that they will see everything that's new at their sales meeting in October. Until then, I don't think anything is going to get leaked out.

Imo this doesn´t look like the K90. Looks more like a K95, the head size is definitely bigger I think.
It´s completely irrelevant though, maybe he just wanted a bigger head since the suit was harder to play with.

I think it is supposed to be called X-factor. They are supposed to add this X-polymer inside the matrix of the Karophite. and it is supposed to make the racket bend at the throat and give you more control and power.

I think i figured it out.
P1 said that he doesnt use a leather grip under his OG? so maybe its the grip that he has under the OG.

It looks bigger than a 90 but I think for commercials/ photo shoot they will not always use 'their' racquet but of the same brand.
Remember 'Tennis' magazine a few months ago, Murray had some Head racquet bigger than a snow shoe!

i know fed uses the retail k90 and i want to believe everything nate is saying, but i found it funny/interesting how he said murray is using the radical matter of factly when in fact it is a pj of the prestige pro...
