It might be all in the handle...?

I'm definetly not the first one to think of this, but when I filled my racquet handle with foam it added around .4 oz (12grams or so).

No suprise here, but is it possible for all the poor QC and racquets being off-spec to be attributed to the foam in the handle not being entirely filled, all my other racquets which I weighed and balanced have fully filled handles, while my other POG which I had to fill myself became exact to specifications after it was filled.....any thoughts?

HEAD racquets hollow in their handles so it must be something in the head/shaft. But I like your theory. Could explain why Wilson QC is so bad: they're foam filled plus lax control at the factory

Ya, I honestly think if people get a racquet thats off-spec they should pop open the butt cap and examin the handle, it could uncover the "main" culprit for manufacturers that fill their handles with foam.

What kind of foam did you use and where did you get it? Thanks
