lol i wore my cotton candys...got some looks and a few comments at walmart..lol and one guy said "Damn, man, thats the sickest shoes i've ever seen." My remark back was "Yeah buddy!"
i wore them to see what remarks i would get before i went to work...lol
haha awesome, gotta love it...yeah i went to the mall here (Woodfield) with my blue genuis's on and man do people stare, its hilarious!
haha i know! I did that with my turq ballistecs and with my other pink ones...not as many stares with those though.
I wore my black/turq balistics to school once and all I heard were people talking about if everyone saw my shoes. It was kinda cool but at the end of the day it got annoying. One kid is still complimenting me even when I'm not wearing them!
haha some fashion statement you made on that school
my bday is coming round the corner at the end of the month and im looking for new tennis shoes...currently have the geniuses, i want something else. i have had the barricade iv before, but not the V. i have had both versions of the cages and am thinking of getting another pair of the 2's. the ballistecs don't really appeal to me yet, not with those colours. so should i go with barricade v or cage 2?
Tell you the truth, if you buy a pair of shoes the colors should make a very little contribution to your purchase. IMO, I would take performance over looks anyday.
where did you get the black/white vapor 6's? I don't recall seeing those sold anywhere...Haven't seen this thread in a while, so thought i'd help it pull a lazarus. This is a final picture of my current collection, as the Vapor III's and IV's have finally reached the point of being unusable for anything, and are due to be retired (ie. binned), shame really, because i loved the IV's. Currently using the white V's for the gym and running (no tread left), the black for matches and the cages for rubbish courts and clay

Have some Vapor IVs and some other Jordans somewhere
Oh man, that shoe brings back memories. Wore them in high school.

nice... are those the breathe free 3s?red ones?
Teyko those are nice shoes, Prince shoes, IMO, are the best in durability and the new models are a really good improvement in comfort.
nice when did they come out again?Yes, they are
Still new, never worn...
I've never seen that shoe before. Do you know which pro wore it and when it came out?
nice when did they come out again?
here's my collection and two of my racquets the o3 pro white is for sale btw....
Yeah i liked them also.. at first the comfort is superb but the durability is a joke. :-? btw they are the asics gel resolution 2's.Really like those bright ones in the middle. They really do stand out, don't they?
breathe free 3sWhich ones, Scraps?
Because only the zoom beyond are used, the others have never been worn
My new shoes
The graw in te insole hve the words: "made in N.Y.C"
^^^That shoes looks awsome but isn't it super heavy ?
Check out my new kicks!
I got 'em for $77.50 and I chose these over the wimbledon ones from last year (both were same price). There were the black and white cage I's for $55 but they only had sizes 8, 10, and 10.5. But I'm happy with these.
EDIT: Fixed the pics!
I have the same ones, and the shoe laces are really quite short. Great shoes though!
lol, I am currently wearing the cage I and have about 6 miles of lace left over after I tie them.
But I have long really narrow feet.
J
The Cadge I's were my last shoes, and I had a lot of shoe lace left over too. I also have narrow feet. I have those Cadge II's above in a size 10.5 and can barely get one tie on the shoes laces, let alone double knot them. Does that make sense. Anyway, the II's are the way to go, although I liked how the I's felt smaller.
I too was concerned at first about the weight of the Ballistec's, coming from the Breathe Free IIs and the Asics Gel Resolutions. Yes, the Ballistec's are heavier, but I actually don't notice any real effect on my movement at all. If anything, I love the cushioning and the stability it provides, and it really fits my feet very well. I now have 3 of the Ballistecs (the white/silver, the charcoal/pink, and the white/yellow). The only shoe that I thought was so bulky/heavy that it slowed me down was the Reebok Match Day Pumps -- the softest cushioning of any tennis shoe I've ever worn, but otherwise impossible to play in because of the weight and lack of ventilation.
