It is a compression sleeve for the forearm. May you never need a support to play this game.

Yep...the older you get...the more you need. I told someone the other day, when I'm 70, folks are going to have a hard time deciding if I'm going to play tennis or skin dive.

You can clearly see the 'cut' when you click the link.
I just don't know if nike makes shooting sleeves, they're usually NBA branded.
could even just be cut from a long sleeve compression maybe

i think i heard when indy was on that the wristband when normal was too small to absborb all his sweat so he cuts it to absorb more

Your right it could be cut from a long sleeve compression shirt, but Nike makes shooting sleeves for their Jordan brand, so why wouldn't they just cut one of those in half?

It's pretty simple. It's a double wide wristband from Nike and maybe you guys noticed it made with a sort of double layer system or some sort. When you cut only one layer then it can be folded outwards. Et voilá, you got your XL wristband

Wow, that Speedport Black looks mighty small in his hand...

That is NO ordinary double wristband. If I have that on me, it would be up to my shoulder. After all, Isner is 6'9"...

I saw similar wristbands a few weeks ago somewhere in Asian sports shop website but I can't find it anymore.
I think it's called elbow band instead of a wristband.
also there is a similar item called elbow sleeve and the material is almost identical to wristband.

I've seen Asian nike stores has long wristbands around 15.5cm (6.1") and they listed in baseball equipment section. also other baseball equipment manufacture makes 25cm (9.8") elbow band.

Intresting. I think they just said on TV it relieves muscle pain in some way.

Are you being serious?

You're right it's magic.

TT'ers can be just crazy sometimes. It's a wristband cut open, just like every other sleeve it's for compression and keeping it warm. Not too difficult a concept.
