What is it ? I don't think its the factory VO2 320 (just guessing because most pros dont use factory racquets)

Also, what does Tipsarevic use ?

Verdasco uses the Major Bullit Elite mold. I don't know much about the racquet, so you may want to do a search.

Tipsarevic actually uses the VO2 325.

Oh so Tipsy uses the 325, not the 320 that TW lists him as using?

Interesting. The only reason why I am not considering the 325 is that its a bit too heavy (12.1 strung, I never go over 12) and the odd string pattern of 18x19 (if anyone can describe this please do )

All I know is that Technifibre bought them. If you look at the oldest pics of him in getty images you will see him using it.

Uncorrect...Major Sports <founded in 1979 by Thierry Maissant > is actually the owner of the Tecnifibre brand. They decided the switch in 2002 since TF was a world-renowned brand. The first racquet collection was essentially a rebranding/aesthetical refreshing of their Major frames.

Eiffel59 , do you know any more info on this Bullet racquet that Verdasco is actually using?

And does anyone know why TW has Tipsy listed under the 320 when he actually uses the 325 (acc. to a previous post )

Tipsi just recently made the switch

Correct, he switched recently to the real 325vo2 (as did Vliegen.)
Before he played a pj on the Bullit Elite frame, i have an original one at home.
Nando still plays the bullit frame customized.

What are the specs on the Bullet?

Dang , is there anyone out there that uses the 320 vo2?

It's BULLIT not Bullet.
out of my head i think:
headsize: 95 sq.
weight: 320 g (unstrung)
beam: 20 mm constant
pattern: 16x19
construction: graphite

ps: i will confirm that tonight when i'm home...

ericsson your post with Verdasco's specs in the original thread on this topic that was going a few weeks ago is here

Scroll down several posts and you can see a link to his post with the specs. This thread also has some good pics of Nando's sticks (past and present)

I don't really understand your point, he asked me the specs of the original Bullit frame, not Nando his custom frame...

Hi, Ericsson...

The 16x19 was 630 (98sq.in.) weighting 327grs. unstrung and with a balance point of 31cms. unstrung (HMGraphite w/Carbiotech inserts)

However, there was a previous incarnation of the Elite, used by Seb Grosjean, that was 95", weighting 320grs. , with a BP of 31,5cms. using a 18x20 pattern..

Hi Ericsson,

Your right, Fernando did play with a racquet that weighed about 320 g WOA, but that was his set up back in 2004/05. He has since moved off of that weight.:)

Hi Eiffel59,

Fernando's mold is an exclusive production. The engeneering code is PT965CN.

Check out my earlier post in this Pro Racquet section about 2 weeks back, you can clearly see the engeneering code in the photos I posted.

Ciao Mario, thanks for the info but mine is around 320 grams unstrung, i will post a pic soon...

Yes it's an exclusive production but the mold is a bullit, the rest is custom and i know from a good source the cost to make these rackets is actually real low despite what you may think...

Tnx RC...i know. As i wrote, i'm trying to "borrow" a new one from TF Italy, or directly at Major next week. It should be a delightful mix between my beloved PT57A and, errr....my beloved 320 <the old one, not the new....> :D

Wish me best luck.... ;)
