In the town where I live Bloomington, Indiana this week, hopefully weather holds and its outdoors.
Suckeyes big favorites and tough to argue it.

The Buckeyes are the best. It's just that simple. Williams and Vick can't punch into the lineup They would be 4 or 5 on any other team. Greatness in all sports and academics, GO OSU

Buckeyes are far ahead of the pack this year. Illinois is good (ranked #14), and in the not too recent past they were much closer to the Buckeyes and before that were better than the Buckeyes, but I don't think they can pull the upset this year.

OSU beat Illinois in Columbus 6-1 and dominated doubles. In theory, there were enough close scores in the singles (some 3 setters, other matches that involved tiebreaks, only one dominating win by OSU in singles), where Illinois could maybe win if they played the perfect match, but I'm not counting on it.

Not sure about the rest of the Big 10. Illinois beat Michigan 5-2.

Illinois no match for michigan. Wolverines had an off day. Evan King has bones to pick with illinois. and Jason Jung is improving so fast, he may turn pro after this year. Could be next Leyton Hewitt....:)

Fedace,

You better stick with the Left Coast with your tennis predictions. As much as I would like to predict something different, Ohio State is the dominant favorite and will likely destroy Stanford if they meet them in the NCAAs.

Jason Jung is a nice player but barely in the top 10 in the Big Ten.

Go Gophs!

Williams and Vick would not be 4 or 5 at USC, Virginia. Tennessee, Texas, Florida, just to name a few teams.

Fedace,

The Golden Gophers are in the NCAAs every year. I believe Ohio State made the finals last year - are you not paying attention?

You're in bloomington? I'm a student at IU. If you're 4.0 or above, we should hit sometime :D

Im older and have shoulder problems but do still play, up to you really, Id consider myself 4.0 standard still unless my serve dies on me. Im here all summer.

So much for my prediction, Michigan came out to play and IU came out as old women. Easy 4-0 for mich.

I went and watched Michigan annihilate IU, Evan King was killing it in singles, not so much in doubles when he partnered up with Jason Jung. Jung also played well at #1 singles...impressive stuff. Michigan plays Illinois tomorrow in the semis; the other one is Wisconsin vs Ohio State

Is it on the big 10 network? I didnt see any sign of cameras.

No, it's not. I went today to watch Illinois vs Michigan. Illinois won 4-0, but most of the matches were pretty close. I also saw Rajeev Ram there too, supporting his former team..he's freakin tall

Supposed to start the final at noon but pushed back to 115 to go indoors, Illinois's slim chances improve on the faster surface I think.

OSU won 4-1, it was also on the big ten network, but you can't beat watching it live...crowd was really into it

OSU player got defaulted for conduct, I was watching the other side so not sure what happened exactly, sounded like a smashed bat.

The shouts of "on it" after a missed first serve really started to annoy me.

Do you happen to know which player acted like that? Ty Tucker is huge on conduct.

# 3 player for OSU. Marcan? Thats what the box score says thought it has him down as retired. Definitely more to it although no one in the crowd could hear.

My bad totally missed it.

He didn't play well at all during the first set. Marek from Illinois dictated pretty much every rally. He put the pressure on early in the second...pity they didn't get to finish. I think that would have been an entertaining match indeed.

Kronauge played very well on Saturday against Wisconsin but couldnt seem to recapture this on Sunday. Which I think is often why someone plays college and not pro.
