Poor Nikolay, still no overgrips sponsorship. I guess Prince really did spend all of their money on Sharapova. What does this man have to do to get some overgrips - win a slam?

But I am not sure is there any o3 on the racket ,
may be that is a bumber so make it like o3 ,

A Dunlop paintjob on a Prince port racquet. . . .Yesh!

-SF

lolol i thought for a second that it was a dunlop logo on the shirt, but it didn't register that they'd paint a racquet with port holes on the sides into something other than prince...

This paint job stuff is getting out of control. Trying to paint a racquet with port holes is just too far. Whats next, pros painting themselves as other pros?

Serena did that some time ago -- he painted himself as a girl...

Jokes aside, I believe it was discussed already that these are different than the O-ports and could be the actual Dunlop stuff... Not sure though, may not be true...

Overgrip? Who says he's not playing with a black overgrip???? He likes everything sober....
Doesn't Hewitt play with a black overgrip too?
Who cares whether he plays with an overgrip or not?

Last time Dunlop did this, they got in trouble with Head. When will they learn?

they can't make good rackets, then they gotta paint their colors ( which is the only good thing they create) on other brand's rackets.
Any player that leaves Dunlop get better (Berdych), Tommy Haas..
Any player that signs with them go down look at Davydenko playing great tennis just before He signed now, He can barely pass a second round.
Dunlop curse, lol.

So John McEnroe's career suffered from using dunlop?

terrible logic, and if you've ever played the AG 4D 300 Tour, you'd know better than to claim what you're claiming. same with the original 300, and 100, and 200. Hell, The 500 series and lower are all great frames, to rival any comparable frame. If I didn't love HEAD's gripshape so much, I'd probably be using the 300 tour.

You obvious don't know what a good racket is, do yourself a favor and try some others than Dunlop cra...p. Maybe their players play with a better frame that the ones they sell, because what they sell is absolute garbage.
But I don't really care weather you nor others think, it's garbage and it's been for a long time.
I'm sorry about it.

You are flicking "genius" mate.

Your post makes a lot "sense". You seem to "know" what you are talking about.

You should be a professional ATP player, if you are not already!

You're absolutely right, of course. I've never played with good frames, I've never used a POGOS and mid, or a PT630, or a PS85, or Babolats, or Head Radicals and Prestiges, and never played a Kneissl or a Puma, nor a Yonex RD-7, RDX500 MP, and also never used a Tecnifibre or a Fischer MP.

You're totally infallible. I agree.
Did you even notice I dont even use dunlop? Or are you simply that dense due to your KFC bucket?

You know, you probably use some **** tweener racket from Prince, an O3 Blue perhaps?

Can we try and hold judgement until we see a close picture, I am not convinced its a o3

There is no way this is O3. Did you not see the actual quote from Davydenko just after the US Open? "I'm going to throw my old racquets in the garbage and switch to Dunlop." I'd say that pretty well sums it up.

If you ever played with the RD-7 as you said you should never mentioned any Dunlop shi... unless you really don't know anything about rackets or you are just lying mentioning all these rackets without even have played with them.
For your reference my tweener is the RDS mid with about 380g.
Dunlop is garbage and it has been for a long time, if you like garbage is your own taste.
If you were able to do something in your life 1% as good as the guy on my avatar I consider you a gifted person, because Buckethead is a genious in music but I am not sure if you know anything about music, maybe you know just as much as you know about rackets, lol, that is why you are so offended lol.
Once again Dunlop rackets are garbage for tweeners, lol, nothing against tweeners, neither against taste and lack of information.
Have a good day and please let's end here, why to be fighting about nonsense cra...y rackets?:)

Melzer is a journeyman and a poor one at that - probably the most overrated player inside ATP top 200.

Wow. Do you realize that this year Melzer has reached the SF @ the French, Round of 16@ Wimbledon and US Open AND has been playing great in Davis Cup (just winning his last two matches)?

Wow, none of that would have had to do with desperation, lack of umpires and dumb luck now would it.

SF @ the French

Wow he took retired fast court specialist Mahut to four sets on clay, who would have thought! Was this the first time Mahut even played on clay?

Round of 16@ Wimbledon

More milestones in Melzer's best year of career - beating Dustin Brown in four sets and taking average 2 games per set from Federer who barely got through first round and barely made quarters.

Hopefully matches will be properly officiated at the US Open going forward.

has been playing great in Davis Cup (just winning his last two matches)?

Beating both Dudi Sela AND Harel Levy in the same event - amazing.

I hate to be the bringer of bad news but Melzer deserves his spot just like everyone else deserves theirs...You get what you earn and while he might not have played great or everyone he beat may not have played great its all about the W son! Every tennis player only plays their best tennis for a few minutes of every match including the top players, at the end of the day its all about grinding it out and moving on to the next round. Melzer deserves his spots because he won matches...

Also @buckethead I know plenty of D2, D1 and futures players that all use stock dunlop racquets and love them, while they may not be your preference other people love them. For instance I hate wilson and will never play with them even they sponsored me, this isnt the case with everyone but its my choice, dunlop wouldnt be in business if they didnt make quality products

I think Melzer is a loser, however he deserves what He has achieved this year, with lucky draws or not, but clearly He isn't a top player he's been in position to win matches against top players and always choked. He is not a factor, but just one more out there.

Wilson makes better rackets than Dunlop , they perform better, they are better. Wilson's QC isn't as good as the Dunlop's.
Personally I'd only play with a few brands and neither one we are talking about is included. Dunlop sponsorship to Junior players is one of the easiest to get, that is why you see many playing, because they just want free stuff to play with.

Jürgen lost in Roland Garros just the match with Rafa and in Wimby and at the USO against Roger.
He came as far as a top player can go IMO. He is now the best player in the history of Austrian Tennis after Thomas Muster.
Don’t forget he was just hanging around at 30 or 40 at the ATP rankings all the years before…

Sorry mate, but do you even know what tennis is?

They arent sponsored they simply like the sticks, and like I said I hate wilsons and cant think of worse racquets and you like them; but its all preference. I would play with dunlop but I got a sick deal with prince, which are not bad racquets either. I would say though Head is the best racquet company in general

Buckethead has proven time and again that he hates Dunlop for whatever reason...He loves Yonex and Volkl. Period. He says the sponsorship is so easy to get (Babolat's is the easiest to get, by the way), but my guess is that he tried to get one and and was denied, so he feels like he needs to trash them every chance he gets. Take his bitter and biased comments for what they're worth...nothing.

Babolat is an easy sponsorship to get o_O.....how easy....you have intrigued me[/QUOTE]

TennisAddict,
it is not that I hate Dunlop, it is that their rackets suc.. therefore I hated them. Why don't I hate Volkl, Yonex, Pacific, Tecnifibre, Pro Kennex, they all have at least a couple good rackets that perform well, but Volkl and Yonex do have the entire line better than anything, and that is why, after demoing so many I decided to stick with whatever these 2 brands make, I just trust them, that is all. Head is a brand that don't like their policies neither, giving cra..p to customers that give their brand money while the real rackets only go to the pro's.How pathetic this is, and isn't what Dunlop does as well?
But I have had enough of this Dunlop thing, I really don't like them and I already chose the brands I will always play with, because I they are just better than the others, period.
