What are Multifilament Synthetic Strings ?

I'm a sixteen year old junior player and i've always played with poly for as long as i can remember . Im an offensive baseline player and loves to attack whenever i can and hit hard deep flat shots in the corners and trying to hit winners . But lately my arms tights up during matches and someone said its probably because of my strings ( idk what strings i have now , their babolat and red and their a poly ) and that i should try multifilament & the new Head FXP Tour liquid blue strings are multi and i really like the look of those . Btw , I love the Babolat Pro Hurricane 16 . Those are the only poly strings that match my game but i want to try something new if multi also blends in my game ( agreesive baseliner ) .
Can someone explain what they are and if it will match my game , if its good on the arm . Im hoping its not a string that gives off lots and lots of spin and no power . Im looking for more power . A little spin is okay though .

Multis are soft, and give power, but far less spin than a poly. It's worth trying, in my opinion, but they will be much different than what you currently use...

Multis are soft, polys are stiff. Polys create more spin, multis produce a flatter ball...

Oh Wow . Thank you very much . I actually love hitting flat but these strings i have now keep putting spin on it . I think they will fit my hard flat baseline attacking game . What about you ? I think it may take a while for me to get used to though since im not use to these . Do multifilaments last long ?

Multifilament strings are nylon strings that are made up of thousands of microfibres rather than having a solid core of nylon that you find in classic synthetic gut.
Many have wraps and coatings like the synguts.
Strangely enough, multi more closely mimics the construction of natural gut!
Polys are a single strand of extruded polymers(monofilament)
Multis play very soft and are good for people with arm pain, but they wear out quickly.
Polys give great control and resistance to movement and breakage, but they go dead quickly.
Kevlar does not break easily or go dead(they're dead to begin with) but they can really hurt your arm, especially if you string them too high.
Synthetic gut is good as a reference string. It does everything well, but nothing exceptionally well and is a good cross for poly mains.
Head FXP is unique in that it is a triple gel core with multi wraps. You either love 'em or hate 'em!
A lot of Head strings are like that.-different. Rip Control, Fibergel, PPS
