Does this raise red flags for you? Just bad luck? Another person I knew many years ago might have had relations with her, and he is dead, too.

You now have the responsibility of warding people away from her for their own safety. Congrats!

But really, people tend to date the same type of person. But if that's not the case I don't know, she's the only common denominator you know.

So she likes the renegade types, and those guys always end up a few feet under. It's a free world, and she's free to pick anyone she likes.

You need to provide more information to get meaningful feedback. If this were a high-school girl from a community-pillar family, than this boyfriend history does sound a bit heavy. On the other hand, a mature lady with tens of years of experience in the entertainment-for-cocaine field who changed boyfriends (personal security consultants) every other week, would be expected to produce double-digit figures here in both departures and imprisonments for ex-boyfriends.

Basically, every guy I knew she dated from late middle school to college wound up in jail or dead at some point. I'm sure there are some survivors.

Well, assuming they didn't die of old age, perhaps she's just into rough guys? That's understandable, isn't it?

At least she's showing improvement from one to the next, sounds like you have no more than a stint in jail
No, man. In order of dating, it goes as below.
Guy 1 = Jail (years later)
Guy 2 = dead (while together)

If the other guy really had any relations, it goes jail, dead, dead. Both guys died before 26.

Christ, two dates in 26 years. One dies, one's in prison. Then there's another guy that bought her a cup of coffee or something, and he's dead too.

And I thought my love life was bad

Hey, everybody winds up in jail or dead at some point. Don't let that scare you away.

Have to read the other posts, my man. These were just the people I knew before she was 20.

I think you know all you need to know about this girl's tastes in men. Unless there is some major sign that she has come to her senses and completely changed her ways, then just walk away.

Even if she seems somewhat interested in you at the moment, she'll quickly get bored because you're not the stupid-thug type she likes. So, don't waste your time.

I appreciate the opinion, but how much would looks play into your decision?

Wonder why you just got picked for a date.?
I wonder about a lot of things. I wonder if some women for me would be throwing fuel on the fire. Most of the time I am thoughtful and conscientious, but when I'm not, I more than make up for it. I think I'm a good person, I just get distracted.

Wasn't there a movie once where the ex-boyfriend gets out of prison and then kills the current boyfriend? ...Oh no, I'm mistaken, that movie is coming out next year!

Damn, it is late. Alright, how would the person I described have to look for you to throw caution to the wind? Which one, or ones, if any?

Trust me. Regardless of the looks, it will be a waste of time. Here's how it will pan out.

At first, she'll seem a bit interested, and you'll have a couple of reasonably nice dates. But, within a couple of weeks or so, she'll start getting bored because you're not the "dangerous" type (i.e., stupid thug). For the next few weeks, she'll act uninterested or flat out bored. You'll feel like you're chasing after a bus and the driver can't be bothered to stop for you. That will go on until you finally give up or she stops talking to you altogether.

So, if you think the couple of reasonably nice dates will be worth it, then go for it. But, if you don't think a couple of nice dates are worth the weeks/months of being treated like a cheap toy that she no longer finds entertaining, then don't waste your time.

Both Would you hesitate if she has Lindsay Lohan Looks? Maybe not her grill.
I don't know, much still depends on personality. Before her down turn, she looked good enough for me. As of now, I would probably stay away.

You are dating a female ganster? Good for you. I have one in class. I am talking a motocylce girl. Her boyfriend is a motocycle boy too.
