What racket should i get????? Used to use Wilson

I used to use the wilson six one 95 asian blx, it felt great and is stable for me.
The only problem is that i'm bored of the feel touch and want to try a new racket.
What should i get???
preferred weight 295-320
Thanks a lot!!

forgot to add i use alu power in the mains and prince synthetic gut duraflex in crosses. 52/50
I have a powerful forehand but backhand needs some working, good with volleys and serve.

You should tell us what your play style is and what strokes you preferred as that will givef more information than just the preferred weight. Weight is only one of the specs of a racquet although it determines whether you can use it or not. Also do you hit flat or heavy topspin? Try the Yonex VCORE 100 S, Wilson Pro Open BLX, Head Microgel Radical MP, BBDCLondon. Remember these are just recommendations that most important thing is to DEMO if you can and find what's right for you. We can only recommend out of our own experiences and those may be different to yours.

I have the radical mp and tried the pro open and don't really like it. Can't buy boris becker rackets in my area by interested to try the yonex.

actually not bored just that this racket feels kinda weird for me

Well then according to Jo11y's guide on rcquet selection, DITCH IT! Then you should Demo, demo. demo until you find the right racquet for you. In the meantime stick with your current racquet. Hm although I need a switch soon 9oz is kind of light after two years....

P.S. Demo everything and do go based on brands there is something out there and it might not be Wilson or Yonex and you find that it fits perfect.

Oh. BIG difference. Just demo every racquet you can. the 100S is alright but would be too light for you if your switching from a 340+ gram racquet, you would need to add extra lead like i do.

btw tezuka how do you get BB in Australia.

Before you change racquets. Change your strings. You know if your using Lux you needa change strings around every 2 weeks even if there are syn gut in the crosses, assuming since you say "bored" and now you say "wierd" the touch and feel changed from being good to bad, therefore the "bored" since no one really like old used up strings. Now after you say it's wierd, assuming that you say its wierd now and your "bored of it", it means that you liked it before some time ago then it got "boring" since the poly died. The strings will be the problem to your touch and feel.

Quite the detective I know.

Hm you order from overseas I guess. No I was talking to him but he doesn't have his location posted. Also a question back to you. It should really be in my thread but wateva. My racquet is way too light by your opinion and so changing strings and continuing playing will cause my arm to die yeah? Its weird cause the people at the store just recommended the nflash to me and were like no this is the best for you even though there were more heavier rackets like the K Surge and other brands back then. This was in 2009 :( I wonder if they knew what they were doing I mean presumable they would say try until you find that its too difficult to lift.

P.S. Sorry about the intrusion into your thread. :) Chyeaah is right just demo. Shame I didn't back then probably is what resulted in this post. :p

If you asked them for a beginners racquet they were spot on. Since you were a beginner you had shorter strokes but now i assume you have long strokes and the correct kinetic chain you can move up to a more of a intermediate racquet.

Also test my string theory before you change racquet O.P

If you want to change the feel and touch try gut mains poly crosses. That took my regular 6.1 from a very honest feeling stick with beef to a massive spin machine that feels like a prestige classic.

Thanks everyone for there responses. I changed my strings to unique big hitter rough in crosses and wilson natural gut in mains. It felt a bit better but still want to change rackets.
I am going to demo:
ig speed 315 16x19
the new pure drive roddick
Prince rebel
prostaff 95 blx
yonex ezone xi 98
juice 100

Will write my opnions after trying then and let you guys help me judge which one is the best one thanks a lot

I switched from the BLX 6.1 to the Dunlop Biomimetic 200 Tour and it has been great. The Dunlop has so much more feel than the Wilson did and the bit of extra weight seems to help my return against bigger serves. It might be worth adding to your demo list
