Pretty sweet shoes but not for tennis. They look like running shoes that I would wear. Do they give the illusion that you are moving faster than you really are?

I love ASICs shoes, but I wouldn't wear these under any circumstance.

I don't get it. I love the GR4s. Would LOVE a sleek exclusive colorway like a black/orange, even a green/white ala the Speed Solutions. The blues didn't really do it for me, and then I saw a headline for yet another Exclusive Colorway, got excited, and I clicked on it and almost thought it was a belated april fool's joke. These things are unquestionably the ugliest shoes of all time.

Awesome! I was looking for some clown shoes to represent my tennis game lately...which has been a joke.
But seriously, I suppose this is the one time I can try out the 80's fashion! I feel like I'd have to have some parachute pants, and tie-dyed shirts to complete the outfit!

I recently switched to GR3 in February coming from the B6 and CB 3.3 (terrible terrible shoe for me) and I couldn't be happier. I bought an extra pair because I knew I'd wear them down within the 6 months.
The 'kid-in-me' says "awesome!". Gotta go with the 'kid-in-me'.
I don't think they look 80's-ish. I've been looking at shoes for a couple weeks now, and if these were the right fit for me, I would say these just sprung to the front of the line. I could have some fun in those shoes!

I like them. I often thought of getting a pair of miadidas Barricades with a crazy color scheme that would resemble rental bowling shoes ~or~ a color way that looked like circus colors. But they are too expensive to have made. Anyway, this sort of looks like that.

Yes, I like them too, I'm sure my footwork will become as explosive as this colorway - more victories for happy feet! Tennis is supposed to be fun sometimes

The shoe, performance and comfort wise is ON POINT. Color wise- I dig as well. It's not like this is Asics first dabble in this colorway. They've been doing it on their runners.

I thought about mentioning the Noosas!
The Tri 6s had a more interesting design IMO - pure urban art at its very finest, and look at the attention to detail including the color changes on the laces. I didn't have the cajones to buy a pair though!

The multi-colored ones are a US exclusive, along with the all blue ones, and the all-white ones. The European colorways just seem a bit unadventurous in comparison.
US gets loud and brash colorways.
Europe gets conservative colorways.
Do you think Asics are trying to say something? :mrgreen:
I would love to see a pro wear a pair of those multi-colored ones in a Slam. Sales would shoot through the roof!

Even thought I wouldn't personally buy them, I totally agree. It's a great marketing ploy to sell shoes. Plenty of kids and even some adults want bold colors and graphics and simply want to be "funky," different from everyone else. That's good. Not everyone has to be the same.
Clearly, it's not for for everyone, and I don't think Asics for a minute thinks that it is. Obviously, some people won't like them.
But, there's tons of "safe" options for people who don't want these, including other variations of Gel Resolution 4s. It can't hurt to have the option.
