Read about many positive review regard this show. Esp on the cushioning and weight.
But does this wear low? I like my shoes to have a low to ground feeling maybe like the Vapor9 ... kinda assure me more stability
Also is the tongue comfortable?
They are very comfortable, but I would not say it is a low to the ground shoe at all. The heel actually feels noticeably elevated compared to most tennis shoes, as has been noted in reviews and other comments.

its got pretty thick cushioning so no low to the ground feel. You don't want low to the ground feel, it is a ripoff gimmickery. You want good thick cushioning so your feet will feel good after 3 hours of tough play and also thick cushioning will let you Launch into the sky and cover more overhead smashes. Yonex let you do that.
Yeah, I just wore mine yesterday in a match... what a great shoe it is! It is one of the rare shoes that is so comfortable you are not even aware of them on your feet. Foot and shoe become one unit!
did you notice that the cushion makes you jump about 1.5 feet higher than normal ?
Yep...no doubt...but are they a downgrade though?Yonex Power Cushion SHT 128 and 228 1/13(release date) $76.35 USD from yen.
outstanding !
you heard first on TW tennis talk....
TW needs to get these like yesterday..
I would guess going by their shoe number and cheaper price, they may not be top end like the 308? I am waiting to see how they improve such a great shoe like the 308
Updates..wonder if they are superior to the 308 which is an amazing shoe....

those look yummy as hell.
I bought 3 pairs of the new SHT 308 color orange for Clay courts, while in Australia last week, they are awesome, superb grip and still easy to slide and light.
I agree, they look very nice.
A few places, top serve, tennis warehouse and another one or 2 places have them. Both for clay and hard court, on my way back for the Australian Open I'll get the hard core ones, right now I'm on red dirt.
Love the new orange color. Killer look.
Thanks for sharing,,I like the red Yonex SHT 308EX, with the new line coming out-2013, the 308 should go on sale and then I'll bag a pair.
They'll drop even further, look at barricade 6.0's at $50, they were $100 plus on the cutting edge.

back at 109 now lol
after many months after starting this thread, I finally ordered a pair in white/navy.... honestly it was a tough one for me, to choose between the 308 and the Vapor9 in holiday colors (really love that colorway).
Now I cant wait for it to arrive and hit the courts
On sale at tw again $80 except all blk ones.
Seems like Yonex is a very high quality shoe, so many people are giving it high compliments here. think i'm gonna order a pair of the blue ones today at $79.99.
