Bash and Crash
Semi-Pro
As a new poster on this forum, I would like to give my opinion on the subject of juniors and professional tennis. I have played at every level (juniors, college D-1,futures) so I believe I have adequate knowledge. To start, congratulations to BB and DB on their success. To achieve a top 10 national ranking in 18s as a sixteen year old is amazing and shows the hard work he puts in. That being said, the time has come at his current age to let professional futures results dictate the next move. Forget juniors at this point outside of a few big events, as you have already secured a scholarship at a top D-1 school if you want it. Play 10-12 futures events for the next two years and see where you stand as a professional. If at 18 years old DB is ranked 1200 ATP, time to go to college. If he is ranked inside the top 300 ATP, he has a legitimate chance to be a money making pro. This is what all top ITF juniors are doing and it is the right path. The next subject I will discuss tonight will be the financial pitfalls of a professional career. Not a fun topic at all. Later.
Well who the heck are you and what the hell do you know?.........................................................................just kidding, welcome aboard, thought I would just get you acclimated.
