Just a little wishful thinking here, but I'd be more than willing to buy a reissue of one of these. I think they're probably an all time classic!

Agree/disagree?

I would support it, even though I prefer the BLX90 over k90. Still don't know why people go nuts over a k90. They're identical to me, except one plays crisper, and the other one plays softer.

Hell yes, my old K-90's are beaten up. Wilson most likely will never re-release these bad boys, which might be a good thing in the future. Could sell for $200+ in 10 years time when Federer retires and all of the newer 90's suck.

Now we all know that's not true. It's only a matter of time someone comes in and bashes one or the other, claiming: "I can't hit my shots with X, but I can get all of them in with the other."

not the same, true, but really close enough.

your 2nd half of the post just proved my point. if you can bagel federer with one, but cant with the other, its not the racket dude......

Same goes with the newer Pro Staff BLX 90, there's like a 10% difference and I'm being generous.

I think people associate the k90 with Federer's more dominant years, so it goes into the head that the k90 is the best? But really...

It's the nearly identical but a paintjob and some marketing BS.

For me, the k90's paintjob is the gold standard for all rackets. Lol for Del Potro too I guess!

Wilson also appears to have tweaked the locations of mass in the BLXPS. People seem to be of two minds about that when I read their reviews.

People hated the n90 and were really glad to see it go after the k90 replaced it. I remember it like it was last month and remember how much I personally hated it with the weight and the stiffness. That frame wasn't good and the k90 was such an improvement over it.

I owned the Tour 90 and n90. The k90 beats both hands down.

Are you kidding? That frame is not an "all time classic." From your mouth to god's ears. Seriously.

Again I don't understand how people can hate one and love another when the series have remained more or less the same with each generation.

Do I see preferences? Yes, but if I can't use my BLX90 for some reason, I'd gladly use another version of the Tour/Pro Staff 90 because they're all nearly identical.

i use the new Prostaff 90 and it's the worst PJ i've subjected myself to. I would support a matte black re-issue. I would actually buy the new ones and sell my old ones just for the paint job.

I say bring back the nCode 90 or PS 6.0 paintjob. The K90 paintjob is just hideous.

Or the ProStaff Tour paintjob. Rather it not be the 6.0 paintjob. We already have a 6.0 midsize.

Oh dear god, a reissue of the K90 with an oldschool paintjob... Worth more than just an arm and a leg.

I like the jungle-look PJ of the K90 but it turned out to be too stiff for me, at least at that weight level. Interesting that I like the KPS88 more than the K90 but that's another frame that we'll never see again. You can get used K90s if you look hard enough and I expect that to be true for the next five years.

What's happening here? Am I being punked or something? That's pretty much what I said...?
Nope, the structure of your two sentences suggests the denser string pattern is in the K90 (or both the K90 and the nCode 90), but certainly not just in the nCode 90 alone.

LOVED the paintjob, but didn't like the way it played (and the n90 for that matter). I don't like the denser string pattern in the center.

I was gifted one strung with VS gut mains and ALU crosses, and love it to bits. It's a wee bit flatter hitting than I hoped though, so I guess the denser string pattern in the middle completes the picture.

That's a shame, but hopefully it's a negligible difference? Not like I'm a touring pro or anything.

Either way, I like it far more than the N90 when I tried it on a few occasions. Haven't tried the K90 although going on the raving reviews by TTW members here, it should be by far the best.

PS90 PJ though is by far the best. BLX90 next. Don't like the N90 and K90 PJs. Way too much going on. The only K Factor line PJ I liked was the black and red K Surge. Unfortunately I was gifted the green and white one, but beggars can't be choosers I guess.

Tell you the truth, I hated the paintjob of my BLX90 when I first switched to it. I thought it was too busy. But I warmed up to it.

i have one k90. i can say that it's a unique racket out of the all of the 90s i tried. the BLX version is too muted. while the new prostaff version is too little swingweight compared to the past ones. the k90 has crisp feel that i can control the rally. I would support for a re-release, however it's highly unlikely to happen.

... what? I didn't even mention "K90". Man you've got some strong stuff there.
Oops....sorry. I thought your original post was referring to the K90 paintjob (as this thread is about the K90 and many people have been commenting on its paintjob, like or dislike).

In terms of how it plays, I read some raving reviews about the PS90, which was why I gave it a go (can't demo where I'm from).

Have you tried both? K90 still far superior?

I thought the PS Tour 90 was just a bit too heavy and stiff for my tastes. So of the two, I prefer the K90.
