    The Fischer Faction!

More power please... I am currently using the Fischer M Pro Number One 98 racquet. Picked this one up because I liked the control and it had good parameters for someone who has had tennis elbow problems. I love the control but would like a little more pop. Could anyone recommend some slight...

Added Weight to VOLKL BB 5

I recently bought a Volkl BB 5 to replace my current Head Ti.Heat Comfort Zone racquet. However, I found that I was a little slower setting up for my backhand and went back to my Head racquet. I then began researching racquets that may be better for mt tennis elbow (I know, a lot of...

    Tennis Elbow & Racquet Length

Lot's of Information... I want to thank you Marius and everyone else who has replied. This is a ton of information and choices. Unfortunately, since I've been using a lighter racquet (Ti.Heat, 10 oz, even balance), many of these lead me out of my comfort zone. I've come up with a few that I...

    Tennis Elbow & Racquet Length

Hi. I've demo'd some racquets and like the Dunlop M Fil 400, which is 27.25" in length. I'm also just getting over a summer-long case of tennis elbow. Would switching from my Head Ti Heat Comfort zone (27") to the Dunlop M Fil 400 (27.25") racquet cause problems for my elbow? Thanks!

Upgrading from Ti Heat Comfort Zone - Help!

Hi. I'm a 3.5 player & I've demo'd so many racquets my head is spinning. This past Spring, I thought i had the answer and purchased a Volkl BB-5 only to find that I had some trouble getting into position and swinging through in a competitive match. At the time, I also liked the Dunlop M-Fil...

Liked Volkl BB 5 - should I try any others?

That was actually a question for the guy with the BB 5. But thanks for your response anyway - I get the point. By the way, I just ordered the BB 5 with Gamma TNT2 17, strung at 58 (the highest recommended tension according the range on the specs). Do know if this racquet would handle 60...

Liked Volkl BB 5 - should I try any others?

105 or 102? Thanks for the feedback. I read a comment on customer feedback (see below) where someone thought the the specs on the BB 5 was actually wrong - that the head size is 102 rather than 105. Is there any truth to that? Comments: This racquet performs as well as explained in the...

Liked Volkl BB 5 - should I try any others?

Most Likely BB 5 I'm actually not too keen on the idea of moving up in head size from 102 to 105. However, I don't recall the BB 5 feeling too big. If I get the chance, I'll check out the Dunlop 300 but I'm slowly winding down out of demo mode. On a tangential note, I played a match last...

Liked Volkl BB 5 - should I try any others?

Getting close... Thanks for your thoughts about customization, string type/ tension, etc... I've had the chance to hit with these racquets a couple of times and I'm finding the Dunlop Mil 3Hundred to be less forgiving than the Volkl BB 10. I do like the feel (i.e., weight and balance) of the...

Liked Volkl BB 5 - should I try any others?

First Impressions I hit against a wall with these racquets land tried some serves last night. Here are some initial thoughts: Dunlop MFil 300 - Surprisingly, I think this was my favorite of these four racquets. Weight and balance was good, good control and some power. Volkl BB 10 -...

Liked Volkl BB 5 - should I try any others?

Thanks for your input Before checking the Forum, I ordered the BB 10 to demo. I also ordered the following to demo: Dunlop M-Fil 3Hundred Mid+ (much talked about and cheap). Head Flexpoint FXP Radical Team (I liked the feel of the Ti.Radical before going with more power in the Heat)...

Liked Volkl BB 5 - should I try any others?

I'm a 3.5 player using a Head Ti.Heat and found this racquet comfortable with regard to weight, balance and control. Could anyone suggest any comparable racquets with just a tad more power than my Ti.Heat? I've tried the following racquests so far: Head Flexpoint Heat - Couldn't discern any...

Need help choosing a racquet - currently using Ti.Heat CZ

I'm a 3.5 player and I've been using a Head Ti.Heat CZ for several years now. I'm comfortable with the control and balance of the TI.Heat CZ but would like just a little more power - without sacrificing much control. Could anyone suggest something that I might be comfortable using? Would a...
