dunno what machine you're using, but Klipper's website says you'll need 20'M - 19'C for the APD (doesn't specify cortex, assuming it's the same). I've found that on my Klipper this provides for enough length to pull the last mains/crosses, so you should be good with 20' lengths for each. if...

the string package you're talking about is klipper's "ultimate hybrid"- Power burst (wanna-be alu power) and Zyex (a multi). I just strung this up the other day after trying a few different polys and syn guts, but I didn't have the problem of fraying in the Zyex crosses that you mentioned...

I have my poly at 55 in my PS tour 90, and it feels much better than when I have it at 60 in my K90....going to restring that lower after it breaks. also, I think I've settled on keeping a multi in the crosses as opposed to a syn gut- it seems to add a pocketing feel which I like. but yeah...

ahh, now I understand! :) that's just the nature of taping yourself I suppose, it's difficult/impossible to be recording 24/7 as well as stay honest in presenting your strokes as they usually are at that time.

good choice, I love my klippermate! plus they have great service, and come with a decent assortment of their strings (tourn nylon, syn gut, ultimate hybrid). I would suggest practicing on the nylon at first cause it's the cheapest- I wasted my syn gut and wish I would have used the tourn nylon...

very tempted to pick up more when I see a good deal, but I know I'm content with 2...especially since I string myself and don't have to wait on that after a break :)

never heard of these strings at all- OG micro 17 isn't cheap enough for you at $30 a reel? the guy selling these "German" (read: brand name, not the country) strings on the bay has the word golf in his name....maaybe a better idea to stick with the Gosen?

unless he cut out way too much for the mains, this makes no sense.... I've done mains on 100+ sq in heads with less than 20 ft. plus, some of the stringers on that list are neither MRTs or certified- but yeah that sounds fishy!

... when you see people playing with shiny new Pure Drives/Radicals/Prestiges/etc and they can't even hold the racquet correctly or hit the ball without framing it, you feel bad for their racquets... "poor thing, deserves a better home!"
