Would 4G rough notch easily? You're looking for polys that have the lowest overall tension loss and highest RPM. 4G Rough is up there, just low powered.
Looks like Tecnifibre Black Code 4S 17 (1.25) has the highest spin potential at the lowest % tension loss according to the string database.
Where did you get RPM count? You're looking for polys that have the lowest overall tension loss and highest RPM. 4G Rough is up there, just low powered.
I disagree with this.
While I don't have a tension meter to measure tension loss, my experience was that the 4S felt like a complete trampoline on my PDRGT after just a week, of which I only hit for 2 hours.
I strung it at 54lbs and it certainly DOES NOT feel like anything in the 50s after that. In comparison, the Tourna BHB7 felt almost the same after a week, again after a 2 hour session.
How does it fare compare to SPPP? I have always wanted to try it out in the mains and SPPP crosssig hextreme is pretty good
SPPP? sig pro poly plasma? I'm not sure why you would want to hybrid such similar strings? Hextreme has more bite, however feel, softness of strings (for a poly) is pretty close. For me, the reason to hybrid has always been to combine characteristics that are different for an in-between feel. I never hybrid polys together, just too close to make sense to me.How does it fare compare to SPPP? I have always wanted to try it out in the mains and SPPP cross

Basically for a setup with good tension maintenance and good spin potential?
How does that compare to RPM blast or solinco tour bite?Wilson Revolve.
How is hextreme's durability?Try full bed of hextreme. It is very similar to SPPP in feel, playability and tension maintenance but will give more bite on the ball
How is hextreme's durability?
How about the spin? Will it get as much as RPM blast and tour bite?Pretty good..i have used up to 20 playing hours and playability is there.
The spin potential is there if you have the strokes. How about the spin? Will it get as much as RPM blast and tour bite?
Right, and Nadal could still get the same RPM he does if he switches to full bed of gut.The spin potential is there if you have the strokes.
Wow. Not the way to get advice here... Taveren wasn't being sarcastic or trying to mess with you. He was only saying that with good strokes, you will be able to hit good spin with Revolve. Thats all.Right, and Nadal could still get the same RPM he does if he switches to full bed of gut.
Every string has spin potential, but every string has a different spin potential. Tour Bite gets more spin than natural gut. That's just how it is. The same stroke will get more spin with a string that allows for more spin. Your post is useless, not helpful, and doesn't belong on this thread.
Thank you AHJS for clarifying for Zaerop. Not everyone in tbe boards wants to make fun of other people. Most of the guys here just want to gelp out.Wow. Not the way to get advice here... The perfect scenario would be if there were a shaped (not textured) 4G, but that unfortunately doesn't exist.
And n8dawg6, don't give me that bullcrap. All I do is ask for advice. I don't ask to be mocked or get trash talked. All I ask are for straight answers. I don't want people going off topic when I asked a very simple question. If I ask a simple question about equipment, I expect people to either answer it, or ignore it. There's no need to go in and make fun of me because you disagree with my setup or philosophy. I received negative feedback about my 4G S setup in my RF97. That's fine, and I respect that people gave me their opinion. What I don't respect is people going off the rails and **** talking me. I asked if it was a good set up. That's a very basic yes or not question, but it seems a lot of people on these forums think it's funny to be a complete troll about it. It's crazy how often I ask a question on these boards that someone gives me a completely irrelevant answer or non constructive criticism (I appreciate the constructive kind, and I have gotten some on my 4G S thread).
If you don't have anything constructive to add to my questions, don't answer. I don't need you clogging up my threads when all I'm doing is asking for advice or information.
It's the truth that I won't get arm injuries from this string. I'm fine with people warning me about that, but if it's not an issue I'll say so. When people give me on-topic advice, I don't blow it off. I either follow it, accept it and continue, or say why it's not an issue. What I don't follow is completely off topic advice. The issue is that you are asking for advice, which people are giving, and then you reject it unless it is agreeable to what you previously thought. If you're going to ask for advice you should be open to trying it out, or at least showing some courtesy to people that want to help you. On the previous thread virtually everyone was trying to tell you that the 4g 15 setup was asking for arm troubles, even if you had been healthy in the past. People were looking out for your physical well-being, and you responded by declaring you wouldn't have arm injuries caused by the string. People are going to be frustrated if you ask for advice, they give it with good intention, and you turn around to completely blow it off.

Ok thank you.To get back on topic, Revolve does not have the same spin as Tour bite or RPM.
I am willing to modify it, I just didn't see the kind of advice I was looking for. Comfort is never an issue for me.So you say that you're certain about not being injured, when you haven't tried the setup for more than a couple of days? That comes across as you having a set plan in place, knowing you won't modify it, and drawing in "advice" just so you can reject it and continue with the original plan.
I really think you will like the Signum Pro Tornado, I strung it at 55/52lbs. hope it is available to you. We both seem to have similar preferences and from what I have read on your posts we have similar strokes.I know you did, and I'm grateful for our input (in your first post).
Ok thanks, I'll add it to my list. I wonder what the playability difference is between tornado and hextreme though.I really think you will like the Signum Pro Tornado, I strung it at 55/52lbs. hope it is available to you. If Hextreme plays very similar to SPPP then it will have great tension maintenance, crisp, a bit stiff at high tensions with the added bite due to the shape.Ok thanks, I'll add it to my list. I wonder what the playability difference is between tornado and hextreme though.
