    Quick question for Chris

Just checking in to see how you're getting along with your Prestige 2.0. Still in love with it? Thanks Chris - hope you're enjoying Indian Wells.

Tried this in the wanted/for sale forum but got no response so will try here. RDX500 Mid grommets...

Is there anything that could replace these? Or is there anyone out there who could point me at a new set? Or a solution? The grommets on the bridge of my RDX500Mid all (bar one steadfast soldier) shook loose last week. Yonex has just replied to my enquiry that they can't help me. I'm turning to...

If you had to transport a lot of frames, what type of bag are you using?

I live in one country and most of my frames are in another. I tried to ship them to myself but the costs were so high that I could have bought another plane ticket for less, so next time I'm back in my home country I'm planning to just put them into a bag (as many as I can) and pay for excess...

Question for Chris (or any of the other Prestige afficianados)

These new Prestige's have me more interested in a racquet than I have been in a very long time - but then the Prestige 2.0 is also out now. I know Chris has mentioned he has a Prestige collection so perhaps he's the most appropriate person to answer this but I'd be happy to hear any and all...

What does Djokovic vs peak Agassi look like?

Just curious how this plays out. Agassi was fit, had good anticipation, took the ball earlier than a lot of the people in today's game, and had heavy strokes. What would this matchup have looked like had they both played at or close to their best level?

How ugly was Brad Gilbert's game, really?

I've been watching a few of his matches online. Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I'm really not seeing anything about his style of play that screams 'ugly'. He looked to be a very solid player - not as spectacular as some of his contemporaries, but ugly? Not in my book. I'm...

How do the Italian companies compare with each other?

I'm not just talking in terms of clothing/shoe quality but in general size and marketshare. Fila, Lotto, Diadora and S. Tacchini all tend to occupy the same space in my head. I have them there as just one homogenous entity, which I know isn't right!

"Never has to work again" money....?

I've seen this phrase many times over the years but apart from the usual suspects it's hard to work out who genuinely never has to work again (provided they don't lose their minds and do stupid things with their money). I've heard this said of Emma Raducanu. She's won just the one Slam (big...

Have you ever been told that there is a 'correct' way to organise a cutlery drawer?

If so, what is it? A friend of mine was horrified that I have (from left to right), knives, forks and spoons. She told me numerous times that this was not correct and that it is always and only spoons, knives and forks. I have to admit, that was the first time I ever even thought about it...

    Andy Roddick's blacked out.....Bab??

I saw him in that mixed dubs match with Kim Clijsters, James Blake and Bethanie Mattek-Sands the other day but couldn't make out what he was using. It looked to be quite thin beamed. Does anyone know? Also interesting to see Bethany Mattek-Sands using the Head Speed when in the TW vid from...

How do you think the remainder of Alcaraz's year will go?

Seemed to be everywhere and killing everyone not so long ago. He's still putting up good results but I can imagine based on his earlier hype, some people have stopped paying attention to him. What do you think the rest of his year is like? I do think he's going to start winning majors - just...

Anyone else disappointed by the coverage from Wimbledon.org?

I am! Their highlight clips are very short and a lot of their media is on court interviews (which is fine, but I'd like to see more tennis). For those of you who aren't getting access to the Championships, where are you watching the highlights?

Thought experiment: use ONE adjective to describe that best describes the game of a pro.

I'll start with an easy one. Seb Korda - effortless (apologies for the typo in the heading. Not sure how to change it - but I'm sure you know what I mean)

Toni Nadal as FAA's coach and his recent comments

He's on record as telling FAA he wouldn't coach him to beat Rafa and that, indeed, he wanted Rafa to win their matchup. He wasn't going to sit in FAA's box. Fair enough for being true to your convictions but does anyone think this is being a little unprofessional as a high level coach?

What do the pros do with their old gear?

I'm thinking more about clothing. Shoes seem to last a couple of weeks - I'm guessing they get tossed. These synthetic clothes don't really fall apart but the companies are constantly putting them in new designs and colours, so what happens to their old clothing? Just curious. I was watching...

Dunlop after the Grafil models. Any legit classics?

Just curious as to whether you folk would name any of Dunlops offerings a true classic once they moved away from their injection moulded frames? The Hotmelts have their fans....but are they classic sticks? The MW200G? How about the first generation Aerogels? Good enough/distinctive enough to be...

What tennis documentary would you wish for?

I still haven't watched the Mardy Fish doc on Netflix but I'm looking forward to it. I've been hearing interesting things about King Richard. If you had the choice, what story/stories in tennis would you like to see turned put on screen? Personally, I loved The Journeymen and I'd love to see...

How much potential does Seb Korda have?

I've really enjoyed seeing him play. He has the same effortless game his dad had but it seems safer and more solid overall. I think Carlos Alcaraz is shaping up to be a sensation, Jannick Sinner already has a lot of buzz......do you think Korda belongs in the same conversation? I do.

Can anyone help me with a string recommendation?

Hi All. I've been out of the game for three years but would like to start hitting again next month. I hit flat although I can hit with spin if I want to but I have a more classic old style game without the open stance and window wiper shots. No extreme western grips for me - fairly flat hitter...

Does anyone know the story behind Pat Rafter's brief period with Fox/Bosworth?

I'm pretty sure he was using a POG when he first started on the Tour, then for a brief time he was swinging a Bosworth stick with a Prince stencil before he moved back to Prince. I'm wondering if anyone has any info about this?

When someone says 'to get good shape on the ball" what are they referring to?

I've seen/heard this mentioned a few times recently but it's not an expression I'm familiar with. Is this ad description of 'arc'? Of the trajectory one hits the ball at - it's flight path from one side to other?

Graphite/composite frames with a nylon throat piece.

Talking to my brother today who has just scored a Puma Vilas and I got to wondering how many of the early composite frames had the nylon throat piece. It can't have been all that many? I can think of the early Pumas, the Prince Precision Graphite, and.........that's it. I'm drawing a blank right...

SET (Stolle Emerson Tennis). Anyone ever see one of these frames?

I know very little about them other than being curious as to what two Aussie legends might have brought onto the market. Does anyone out there know of this company and their product/s? Were they made by someone else and just rebadged or legit in-house racquet designs?

Has anyone here put a poly string in an aluminium/metal frame?

Just curious. I'm not a poly lover at all but I've wondered for awhile what a poly might feel like in one of the classic aluminium frames of the 70's/80's - something like the Head Tournament Edge, or even the Prince Pro. Has anyone had experience trying this out?

How would a peak Marcelo Rios fared against prime Nadal?

Would he have been able to out magic Nadal or would Nadal have simply overpowered him? I know we never got to see too many instances of peak Rios, but it was very impressive when we did.

Do you have a favourite looking classic frame?

Could be design, could be cosmetic - I'm just curious as to your tastes. I have a real fondness for the sticks that came through that very short wood/graphite period. I think the Edgewood and the Golden Ace, for example, are some really classy looking sticks. In terms of cosmetic - I've always...
