n.vy I use 16L tour bite with 17 N.vy. I use N.vy to soften the string bed, and I find it does slightly better than other syn guts at retaining tour bite's spin. It's also very durable as the 16L tour bite mains break before the 17 N.vy crosses (about 8 hours or so of play)

There should be enough room on the 7th main to tie off the crosses. This racket is unique in that you string the crosses bottom-up.

Try the EXO3 tour. Huge sweet spot for forgiveness, but also the most flexy and comfortable racket I have ever used.

I don't have too much comparative experience, but it was a noticeable difference. The string bed still felt like poly sitffness wise, but it was definitely more conformable.

You will have to do the first 2 crosses, pull, and then clamp them to eachother. Make sure to wiggle the crosses when you are pulling 2 at once (and this should be the only time you do) to get the tension as close as possible. Then pull 3rd cross and clamp it to the 2nd.

The torque for 5 degrees over horizontal and 5 degrees under horizontal should be the same, as for any other number of degrees.

If I understand correctly, extra tension only occurs when external force is added to the bar, such as dropping it or pushing on it. If the drop weight ends up past horizontal, but was lowered slowly then it is still fine. 5-10 degrees past horizontal would result in about 1 pound less tension.

By definition most players racquets are demanding. However, if you are looking for a forgiving but low powered stick, look at a radical oversize. The microgel is only $90 and many on this board consider it better than the current version.
