Which player (in the last 25 or so years) played the highest level ever in a particular match?

Fernando González should be on list. AO run was epic. Nalbandian should also be on list.

Espresso update: Added 3g’s at 3&9. Didn’t like it at all. Killed the whip, and made it more sluggish than I expected for only 3g’s. Next up, 2 @12.

That’s right, bagels, pizza, beef, coffee products, deserts, condiments and profanity. All part of the ‘Holic lingo. JGads is currently printing out this entire thread so he can start pitching the first edition Racketaholic Dictionary for kids who can’t read good

Bagels and pizza, now I'm super hungry lol Also, against a ex-5.5, doesn't matter what stick you were wielding. So, instead of going by that unavoidable ass-whooping, play someone at your level. IMO though, both racquets might be too "advanced" for your level if you're a 3.5. One is a 95, and...

Ok so I did it............ it's my birthday soon and well, 'aint no one gonna think of getting me this puppy. Question, what BBs did you guys buy? The recommended brand seems too pricey. Also, do you need all 6000 of them??

How many Wawrinkas are out there? (or there have been in the past)

Good call. And like a pre-prime Wawrinka, Dennis is also prone to double faulting at the worst possible times.

Played doubles tonight. Started with the Espresso. Serves were ok, I hadn’t served in an age, so I wasn’t expecting anything special, but still got my ass handed first set. Second set switched to the Doppip. The added stiffness immediately helped on serve. Still got my ass handed (to be fair, I...

Only ever tried gen1-3 98 16/19 strikes. Good sticks, especially gen1. But the SS on the las two versions is tiny. Strike 100 sounds nice. Might try to track one down used to scratch my PAVS itch.

    Racquet price increases are insane!

I’m in manufacturing and I agree with @tim-ay 100% on all counts. P&L might be main driver of cost increase for some, but for us it’s definitely human capital costs at every level, but especially in operations. Pure supply and demand. The “real minimum wage” ie the dollar amount a person will...

Switched to my APD’s tonight after getting into a nice groove with the Espresso’s. I still think the APD’s are great frames. The feel is really muted and they are supremely comfortable for a thick beam Babo-launcher. But after playing the Espressos, I found myself feeling disconnected from the...

Ooof, dunno, 7G had massive balls AFAIR. The Doppio, at least IME hita fast ball, but not the heavy ball of the 7G. of course, the 7G is harder to get in position.

Those Head MP’s loose out in power and spin to the PK’s all day, and the Doppio’s have enough control and feel to give the Heads a run for their money. I tried everything to!up the power on all the assorted Head MP’s I’ve played over the years (Radicals, Prestige’s, MP’s, Pros, LM, MG, Ytk)...

That’s why I love the Espresso. Can’t miss, amazing directional control, and enough put away power (at least the 16x19) providing you’ve managed to get your opponent out of position.

What was KEY to Medvedev's win tonight?

Medvedev was happy to hit medium pace down the middle, putting all the pressure on Novak to attack, and at the same time denying Novak opportunities to hit his blistering DTL shots and changes of direction. ….. and the monster serve.
