Input on 6 Heavy Weights - Which 4 to Demo?

The only one I've used on that list is the 95d... That thing IS a cannon, it reminded me of the Biomimetic Max 200g and felt far more like a tweener than a heavy players frame to me... If you want something similar to the 200T I'd say that's about as far as you can get IMO. Just my experience...

Oldest primary racquet folks are using?

They aren't my primary now since I just replaced them with AG 4D 200 Tours but I got a pair of iRadicals from a thrift auction a while back and I really, really loved them. I recall hating the Ti Radical and strongly disliking the i.Prestige when I was actively playing before so I never tried...

Dunlop AG 4D 200 Tour - Racquet similar but more Power?

Have you tried dropping the tension? Mine are similar to yours in specs and balance (other than SW, not sure what they are in that regard but feels fairly high) and I find them a bit too powerful with my current setup which is Gamma ZoTwist 16 at 48lbs.

Bio Max 200g vs Yonex RDiS 200

Much appreciated! Hopefully it will be helpful. I was considering both of these racquets heavily before I decided on the AG 4D 200 Tour in my last demo batch about a month ago so fortunately the way they played is still fairly fresh in my mind

Bio Max 200g vs Yonex RDiS 200

Demo'd both of these from TW not too long ago, both had 16g multis (Dunlop Silk in the 200g iirc yonex tour super 850 in the RDis). Here are my thoughts: Groundstrokes: I use a 1HBH - 1H backhands were a DREAM with the RDiS 200! One of my favorite racquets for these that's not a much...

    Retiring my Ti.Radical OS. Alternatives?

Just for some background I wasn't a big fan of the Ti Radical in it's prime but I really liked the i.Radicals. I recently demo'd the Liquid Metal and Microgel versions. I've hit with the MP versions of all of the above and the MP and OS versions of the Microgel. To me the Microgel Radical...

Are we kidding ourselves with mid rackets?

Headsize makes very little difference to me as long as the weight, string tension and overall feel of the racquet are to my taste. I started with a Wilson PS 5.9si 110 when I was quite young, then a Volkl C-10 Pro 98, then a Dunlop MW 200G 100, then Wilson PS Triad 6.0 95's and now the Dunlop...

    Best racquet for a beginner

Something like this would be a good place to start and you can normally find a good deal on them at TW if you're looking to order online. These kind of frames have enough power to help a beginner without being so powerful that you can't grow with them and are relatively inexpensive for a "real"...

Just got the black ace 325 or (black ace 2012 as TW calls it)

I second this, I demo'd the BA98 and Redondo MP at the same time and felt this way as well. Nice review!

Racquet suggestion - oversize with flex and some pop?

POG OS is definitely worth a demo if you like the Redondo as they are both definitely for folks that like classic sticks. However, while it's more forgiving it probably won't give you THAT much more help over the Redondo besides the headsize. Radical OS is definitely nice as well, although the...

Best racket head size for 1 bhb?

This. 90-93 feels best to me if I were just hitting backhands.

    ***Dunlop 4D 200 Tour*** Club!!

New member of the club! I've been out of the game for about 7 years and after a lot of demos from TW I fell in love with this stick in my last batch and ordered two (plan on ordering 4 more in the future) with Gamma Zo Twist at 48lbs. I'm not a huge poly person but I really do like the Zo...

Which string pattern do you like more in Donnay Pro one? (poll)

I'd be really interested to answers to this as well... Before I decided on the Ag 4D 200 Tour as my current stick I was really interested in demoing the 16x19...

    Edit my Demo List Please

Forgot to add this about the 95d and I'm a newb so I can't edit... I felt that it played larger than a 95, definitely felt a couple si higher... I never tried the larger versions but if you are ok with the C-10 pro I would suggest this size.

    Edit my Demo List Please

Honestly, I'd suggest the Vcore 95d, it has more oomph than you would expect from a players frame and played light to me despite it's stats. I used the C-10 Pro for a long time and the 95d plays no where near as heavy as it does and it didn't seem like an overly stiff stick to me. The only...

Anyone played with both Dunlop 200 Tour and Wilson 90's?

I was the same way in that when the original Tour 90 came out, I gave it a demo and it really complimented my serve (and one-handed backhand) well. Coincidentally I just picked up some AG 4D 200 Tours as my main sticks after a long round of demos and being largely out of the game for several...

Specs of Bio Max 200G - but More Power?

I'd second the Yonex Vcore 95D for a stick to try. Demo'd the Dunlop and the Yonex from TW in the past couple of months. Personally I found them both a bit too powerful for my taste (both were strung with mid tension multis) but the Vcore definitely had more pop. As far as which is more...

How long do you use your racket?

I have racquets that I collect just for the sake of having/and or always wanting to have hit with that I will hold on to forever and play with ocassionally and then I have the sticks I stock up on to play with on a regular basis. Right now that would be the Dunlop Aerogel 4D 200 Tour and I...

    3.0 having racquet buyer's remorse

I'm 25 now and getting back into the game after about 7 years... I started playing when I was about 8 years old, first with a junior sized Prince racquet, then with an adult sized aluminum Wilson "Enforcer" racquet that was from K-Mart or the like, and then finally with a Wilson 5.9si 110 after...

Recommended String and Tension for Dunlop Aerogel 4D 200 Tour

Received my pair of 200 Tours from TW today with Gamma Zo Twist @ 48lbs. I just got a short hitting session with them and I have to say it's not too shabby. I have to start off by saying I'm not a huge poly person but at this low of a tension they weren't hard on my wrist at all, pocketed...

Recommended String and Tension for Dunlop Aerogel 4D 200 Tour

I'm also getting back into the game after a roughly 7 year hiatus in my case, although I was certainly not national competitive or anything like that. After many, many demos from TW fell in love with the 4D 200 Tour. I just ordered two with a full bed Gamma Zo Twist at 48lbs. I'm normally not...
