    What is Wilson Revolve "seed"?

A seed set is just pre-release and/or promotional product. Same as retail just without the packaging for dealers. So, you have the same revolve as normal revolve.

    Possible Blade v7 Pro Stock

Some are, some aren't. Literally just depends if the factory put them on or not. I'm seeing them much more frequently in more recent paintjobs while v6 and prior was hit or miss. The grommets are the tell, typically. Not the parallel-drilled/all oversized ones, so it's a v1-v4 mold. Same flat...

Tennis Warehouse Playtest: Wilson Blade 98 16x19 and 18x20 v9

I customized a bunch for our juniors and club members - at least 60 of the v8 - and those were worse. Between 278 and 305 strung across all 60. 18x20 tended to be on the upper half of that range, and 16x19 could be anywhere in there. Plenty of 300ish unstrung 16x19s as well as super low ones...

Need to get paint off the racquet

Looks like stencil ink - the speckles are pretty standard, and new tubes can spurt all over which explains the big glob. Rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball usually does the trick for me.

4.5 and higher with Zero Customization

Played 5.0 the last time I was playing league. I customize my blades to the stock specs of the KBlade I had as a junior. So basically just a swingweight bump via a couple grams under the bumper. I’ve had leathers on before and even matched to my PSTs from college, but I’m fine, better even, with...

changing shoes --> cant freaking serve for **** now!

It’s possible just because of how different materials, heel-toe (ball of foot) drops, and other shoe metrics can impact your biomechanics. But it’s probably something else at play like your body is tired or you just had an off day.

Sabalenka rackets? Please help me verify.

I would assume she wants all the control she can get haha

Sabalenka rackets? Please help me verify.

She's been KBlade mold pro stocks and 18x20 as long as I can remember. Maybe she trialed Steams at one point.

Tennis Warehouse Playtest: KSwiss Speedtrac Shoes

I don't typically update playtests, but this one is worthy. I have a pair of Speedtracs for teaching and the gym because they're more comfortable than almost everything else in my closet and are responsive enough for plyometrics. Wouldn't play in them...until now: I just got a new pair, and I am...

Sabalenka rackets? Please help me verify.

They’re legit pro stocks - k factor grip so likely the k blade underneath, but Wilson is not perfectly consistent with that. And almost certainly sabalenka’s with the stickers on there. She tested ALU/Ace at one point too.

Tennis Warehouse playtest: Hyper-G Round 1.25

It’s not about the frame relative to your review. I really don’t care what your impressions were. You’re neither right nor wrong about subjective things…you just had a different experience. I was generally curious why you chose to review with a racquet that you dumped on the classifieds in short...

Tennis Warehouse playtest: Hyper-G Round 1.25

I think you’re missing the point, buddy. I asked why you’d test in a frame you can’t get to work. Just for clarification...maybe you know it super well and really tried your hardest before deeming it a failure. I have no idea, so I asked - should readers take your review with a grain of salt...

Tennis Warehouse playtest: Hyper-G Round 1.25

I’m not going to go back and read all your posts lol. I’m not calling you out. I just asked why you tested the strings in a frame you are dumping, inferring you didn’t like the frame because in your words you “can’t make it work.” That doesn’t seem like a great test to me unless you’re largely...

Tennis Warehouse playtest: Hyper-G Round 1.25

That’s not how I would test a frame. I’d test a frame for my own use by weighting it to my specs, stringing it the same as my usual to start, and tweaking from there based on my impressions. I know what I like and what to change when something is missing. Then once I have it how I like, I keep...

Tennis Warehouse playtest: Hyper-G Round 1.25

I wasn’t really making a point. Mostly just curious how a racquet that doesn’t work for you is a suitable playtest frame. That wording from your FS post implies you don’t like it, but I can understand enjoying the frame while the racquet is not a good - or good enough - fit. I suppose if you’ve...

Tennis Warehouse playtest: Hyper-G Round 1.25

I will probably stock a reel as well. It won’t replace ALU for me, but the extra zip on the ball is lovely. I switched from a racquet with fresh ALU Rough to a matched stick with hgr and sailed the first handful of balls long. Lots of easy lift and zip off the strings without being wild. Plenty...

Tennis Warehouse playtest: Hyper-G Round 1.25

I see you’re selling this frame because you can’t get it to work for you. Could using this string in a racquet you don’t like have impacted your review?

    Wilson Blade V9 2024

The string spacing is the same. Kind of like how people would put prestige caps on radicals back when the rad mp’s were 18x20 and the same 95 (or whatever it was) as prestige MPs. Those weren’t the same molds. But same drill pattern and molds close enough that the caps fit…sometimes a tie off...

    Wilson Blade V9 2024

The bumpers fit. Which is the part most frequently replaced anyway. I did it on a v5 last week no issues. Client wanted v8 grommets which was what we installed, but we tried v9 grommets to see if they fit. We got them on easily. The tail at the end of the side grommet strip needs to be trimmed...

    Wilson Blade V9 2024

For those of you who love to customize, the new grommet system is great. The grommet strip is separate from the bumper and sits underneath the bumper. Pop the green clips and the last 2 grommets out and the whole bumper comes up. Easy to tuck lead underneath and/or tinker between string jobs...

Tennis Warehouse playtest: Hyper-G Round 1.25

Agree with all here. Of course, those familiar with YPTP probably have more confidence and/or it fits their game better than HGR, so some things that are more on the user like spin generation could differ person to person. In my experience, YPTP manages to be soft and dead at the same time, so...

Tennis Warehouse playtest: Hyper-G Round 1.25

You flatter me. I’m more than a bit washed up now. But yeah, ALU just isn’t that durable if you hit the same spot on the strings over and over against anybody providing decent pace.

    George Loffhagen Racquet

Yes. Shares a mold & string pattern with all other Storms/Controls in 98 (or 97 if '02 or prior...just marketing) headsizes and 16x20 pattern

Tennis Warehouse playtest: Hyper-G Round 1.25

I'm not what I used to be anymore lol. Plus, ALU is really not that durable...the only Lux string I've found that is would be Original. I played in college and was a full time teaching pro for a few years. Now I'm in the permanent loop of bump to 5.0, appeal down, attempt to sandbag (because...

    Fake Luxilon ALU Power Rough?

I wonder if two people saying it will put his mind at ease.

    Fake Luxilon ALU Power Rough?

No clue. I think you’re reading too much into it. Luxilon can change its packaging any time. And they have over the years. If you’re really that concerned, buy one from an authorized dealer and have your worries settled.

    Fake Luxilon ALU Power Rough?

Looks legit to me. Just older packaging. Didn’t used to come in other gauges…well, it did but they were called something different like “ALU Power Feel” and such. Back then it was just “ALU Power,” not “ALU Power 125.” Like you said, you can’t tell the difference, so there likely is no difference.
