Question for the holics How much swingweight would head lynx tour set add to a 100 square inch racquet if its unstrung swingweight is 290???

I bought two matched wilson clash 100 racquets because the two i had were completely worn out. In the meantime i played a bit with the ezone 98 and in a doubles match i was hitting aces left and right. Now I really regret using the ezone 98

Prepare early. Stay low. Don’t grip the racquet to tight. Keep your head still at contact point. And keep a nice racquet head acceleration

Try the same string and tension so you can compare it with the clash 100. If you like it more with the speed mp you can always try different strings later on…

the ezone 98 hurt my left and right wrist. With the same string the ezone 100 was fine and played longer with it.

When is a new clash coming out 2024 or 2025???

I will take the vcore 98 for some matches and some hitting sessions. If it will result in me winning my service games easier..... I will seriously consider compromising my confidence off the ground with the clash 100 for a stick that makes me win more service games.

I’ll try this thanks One of my coaches told me to toss lower and that ****ed up my serve so much it took me back months and a lot of lost matches.

With my flat serve I hit long by a lot. Now I usually just slice serve with medium pace as first serve just to get it in. But In competition and tournaments on my level i get broken too often. Then with the vcore 98 for example my flat serve goes in way more often with the same technique/toss.

Are the differences between power and launch angle significant?

i use it. i play 4.5 level. after testing many strings i like head lynx tour the most at around 49 pounds. some lead at 3 and 9 for better stability. for me its great my footwork is not the greatest but with the forgiveness of this racquet it bails me out a lot. you can serve bombs with it too.

It wont be much difference honestly in playability. If you prioritize comfort go with the Clash. If you want a bit more pop and stability go Speed MP. But at your level I don’t think you can go wrong with either.

This might be a stupid question but a 18x19 string pattern is more open than a 18x20 right?

The clash line must still be selling extremely well. I put the clash v2 100 pro up for sale along side the gravity mp. I got 2 messages for the gravity mp in a week. And over 20 messages for the clash 100 pro. Imagine if you want to sell the regular clash.

The clash 100 v2 is still very flexy and comfortable. the 98v2 and 100 pro v2 are much more stiffer to me than the RA would indicate. it doesn’t even feel like a clash to me.
