Hello all. It has always been my understanding that if you generally use a 1 handed backhand, the racket head size can't be more than 95". Is this usually the case?

You might want to run that by ljubicic, gonzo, gasquet, youzhny, schiavone, almagro, wawrinka, lopez, corretja and a few others before coming to a decision...

There's no frame designated for exclusively one handed players or two handed players. A good friend of mine has been using the K Pro Staff since it came out and he hits with two hands on the backhand side quite well.

yes. you will live to fight another day if you dare hit a 1hbh with a 100sq or even oversize frame. it's true.

Honestly, if the grip size is right, it's absolutely fine. Some added weight might help on a few racket though.

    Os 1hbh

    Two words: Gabriela Sabatini

One of the sweetest 1HBHs ever -- both top and slice -- with a Prince Original Graphite OS weighted up to over 14 oz.

She's 5'9", 135#. I'm 5'11", 153#. If she can do it, we can do it.

I personally tend to b more comfotable below 98ish, but that is what it's about, frame that is right for you.

She also trained, followed a strict diet along with exercise for all of her childhood and well into her post-retirement life.

But it's never too late to start.
