Does anyone else play with a prestige mid and have a 1hbh? Anyone else struggle with it from time to time?

A lot of people have trouble with the grip shape and their 1hbhb, as well as the narrower shape of the head...

You'll have to be a bit more specific of what's going off with the backhand before I can offer you any suggestions. The smaller racquet head of the PC600 will make you work harder on finding the sweet spot but overall I find it great on the backhand. Alot more spin potential then the incarnations of the prestige since. Also, since it's not a power racquet, extending out to the target is very important, you cannot solely rely on rotational power but linear as well. I find people with bigger racquets don't extend enough before following through.

Anyhow, tell us what's happening when u use the PC600. Because it's such a players racquet it usually uncovers faults with mechanics. That's why I picked it up initally way back. It didn't allow me to cheat at all!

    Good luck,

    Mike

It's not a PC600, at least not yet. I should be getting my PC600 any day now. The Flexpoint Prestige gives me a little trouble on the backhand side, and it may be that the grip shape still bothers me slightly. It may be the shape of the racquet head when compared to the nCode 90 I used to use, or the different string pattern. It just seems like I'm hitting the ball long or in the net with the Prestige a lot more on the backhand side. My forehand has improved a lot, and I've really flattened it out, but I find it hard to flatten out my backhand.
