Alright, I picked up an ancient BR3 drop weight on 3bay. My 1st stringjob was a test on an old beat up Donnay CGX 25. I only glanced at some videos, didn't really learn any knots, I just winged it. Here's the disaster I created:

I lost lots of tension on every knot I tied (2 piece string job). Notice the use of the wrong grommets for the mains and crosses as well as the finish knot on the OUTSIDE of the frame! (bottom of pic)

My 2nd string job (not pictured) went better, but I still had problems pulling tension on my knots.

3rd string job, this time on my Vantage:
I switched to the DireDesire ATW pattern instead of a 2 piece. This time I extensively studied YULitle's stringing videos, including tying AND tightening Parnell knots.

Thanks YULitle for all of your help via your YuTube Vids!

The job turned out remarkably well! (17ga PSGD @ 57lbs):

Really nice the 3rd time. I hope I can afford a Klippermate soon so I can start stringing.
