    Hey

    I have a klippermate.

It took me 45 min to string the mains, and 70 for the crosses.

Is this normal? The website says it should take about 30...

This is the third racquet I have strung with this(I am new to stringing, first machine). I feel I have improved my time, but not significantly since I do not need to look at the how-to anymore.

Haha, don't worry. It was like that for me as well when I first started. After a few rackets (I break a lot of strings), I am able to string a racket with a Klippermate with a drop-weight in about 25min. You'll definitely get better over time, don't worry.

My first time took like an hour and 30 minutes. Mounting and weaving, and making sure the tensioner was straight (on my old drop weight)

I eventually was able to string on my Gamma X-2 in 30 minutes.

Now that I strung over 100 racquets and upgraded my machine, I can do racquets in 25-35 minutes without making any mistakes.

It's only your 3rd racquet. I started at around 1 hr 15 minutes which was a year ago. Now, I do it around 40 minutes because I generally don't care about the time but make sure I don't make mistakes and have to do it again.

30 minutes for me if i have music going or something on the tube while stringing. You'll get faster in no time man. Keep on stringing.

Just practice a bit. Maybe you could ask your friends if you could do their rackets, and not only yours.

as these guys say, practice. youll get the hang of it, and it's nothing to worry about right now. just make sure you string it properly.

dont make mistakes, and the more you string, youll cut more time from the process. but string it properly.
