has anyone ever played with a racquet that had 2 replacement grips? a friend of mine had a normal replacement grip and a wilson sponge grip over that on a 4 3/8 racquet...

I thought it was weird at first but then I held it and played with it and it was VERY comfortable. it took out almost all the shock and it really felt good each hit...it was just a bit too big though..

well the more grips you put on a stick, it's gonna absorb more shock.
so yeah it's gonna feel really comfy, but for feel users like me and picky grip people, that is not an option.

i would suggest against it though. wasting money on the first grip when it will be wrecked after the second and those are what OG's are for.

It also rounds out the grip too much- a little like lpaying like a broom handle.
