JBF picked Tsonga for RR2 whom kicked Mardy arse. So the Ferru pick is legit!

Has to be Berd, no? He beat Murray (now Tipsy) and plays Djok Wednesday.

I'm the polar opposite of what you wrote. I'm rather unreliable, and I'm not blond, I'm actually black! I don't know if there truly is a thing called "crazy Swedish decisions", maybe crazy Swedish efficiency and reliability, but that's probably all...

ahhhh ... i get it now ... you were being straightforward about sweden needing more crazy decisions :) only things swedish i'm familiar with are robin soderling (miss him a lot and want him back) and the authors henning mankel and steig larsson ... larsson wrote that successful millenium trilogy and then he died  ... he was said to be a member of the communist party ... is that pretty viable in sweden these days?

btw is the scoresheet actually blank? cuz the one i linked to just now was?

Well, we have a leader of a party who actually had communist origins and is a member of our parliament. We also have what is basically a racist party in parliament too. Don't ask me why, we just do.

wow i dont know what to say ... how retro to say the least ... and how sad ... now i know why that's one of the themes in the larsson books ... another theme was "the woman thing," which turned out to be ironic cuz the woman who lived with him for 20 years (and helped him write his books so she says) is fighting his next of kin now in court ... not to get into an off topic discussion, but does sweden not have a domestic partnership law?

    p.s. @ kishnabe ... thx for the update :)

Well, it's a bit of a murky area for me as I really have other priorities other than reading up on this (right now my top priority is 5 pages of English text for a big test on Friday and I haven't even started...) but from what I can remember we do have a partnership law but it only applies to people of the same gender as they cannot marry, still (IE instead of being formally "married" they're registered as partners).

If this is what you mean... Otherwise, please define further:p

Also, I've got to say that the reason I'm making these kind of picks is because I'm tanking.

So Tipsy hurts his knee on MP? Man, this is the strangest tourney ever! I'm almost tempted to take Tankovic but if Almagro steps in...???

BTW, happy u found your plastic, RS! No chance the bag of chips swiped your identity, eh? As to Swedish eccentricities, until I read "Girl w/Dragon Tattoo" I did not realize right-wing extremism and violence against women were serious issues in your country. I knew you weren't all blondes (Ingrid Bergman, possibly the most beautiful woman ever, for example) but I thought America had a monopoly on twisted behavior. Love that book, can't wait for the film w/Daniel Craig starring as Blomkvist. Just starting the second book now.

    Why yes!

The theme for the English test I have tomorrow is about making up your mind and decisionmaking, and one text said that in order to get to the top you need to make good decisions, and the only way to make good decisions is to have experience. However, the only way to get experience is bad decisions:)

Now, I presume I have to work on reading the final text...

RR3: I'm holding my nose while I'm posting this...very awkward...sore-shouldered Tankovic over gimpy Tipsy...probably by retirement.

I say you haven't quite understood the idea of tanking. You lost in the first round which clearly means that you're injured!

GOAT pick. Anyway, it looks like I (and nearly everyone else) have been defeated. Oh well, it's been a fun quarter-of-a-year. Thanks to Kishnabe for running things. :)
