The exact order isn't out since some matchups are uncertain, but it will be all 8 of the R16 matches.

So it looks like the Top 8 for the WTF SDL are set now. Delpo's win clinched the final spot for me.

Although dcdoorknob is currently #8, it looks like his Shanghai points weren't added to his ranking, in which case he'd move up one spot past wrxinsc, who becomes the odd one out.

Thanks for catching that btw! I don't know if I would have noticed in time or not.

No problem. I only noticed because you were directly above me and I remembered from managing the spreadsheet in Shanghai that you earned points there.

If DelPo had lost today, then ironically me pointing that out that would have cost me a Top 8 spot.

General notice: everyone should double-check their ranking totals to verify nothing is missing.

Congrats to dcdoorknob and CDNguy87 for clinching the last two spots in the WTF event. By apologizes dcdoorknob since I did forget about your Shanghai race points. That is why you have 210 additional points listed than before.

    Congrats to the Top 8!

2nd straight Masters where Murray blowing MPs has cost me...I nominate him for the "Pick at Your Own Risk" list.

Congrats to Locotus for advancing the furthest. You only have two picks remaining Llodra and Jerzy

    Thx Jay.
    SF pick: Jerzy

Is this the first time ever JJ has been picked in SDL? Some distant memory says JBF might have picked him in USO over Novikov - and lost....

Yeah, quite a few people (including myself) took him for the USO R1 and were knocked out. Between his loss there and his Murray victory here, someone could have made a ton of money from the bookies.

Good job on making it this far! Your strategy of conserving the GOATs Llodra and JJ for the end has worked out quite nicely.

Au contraire, I did pick Novikov in the PPL against him and came up big at the USO - but didn't pick him in SDL, of course.

BTW this has to be the record for minefields in one single event. Incredible skill/luck to make it far in this event.

With Jerzy's win, Locotus has moved up to #2 in the Race and can move up to #1 (by only 10 points) if Llodra wins the tournament.

That's right! You had Klahn as well, thus two 40-pointers in the same tournament. Those were the days....

That would have been something out of this world.

Anyway. It's been a pure pleasure navigating through this minefield of a tourny.
Thx again to Jay, Kish & CDN for making this happen.
    See you all in London!
