Every keeps saying Ferrer will be tired. Fact is that he doesn't seem to. Tiredness won't be a factor - the fact that Ferrer can't beat Federer ever will be. That said, Ferrer in two.

What H2H did Davydenko have with Federer going into the 2009 World Tour Finals SF?

    And what was the result?

At least it was clear that it was Davy's best shot. He was at the very highpoint of his career (beating Nadal in Shanghai final, as well as in WTF I think)and Djokovic too. It's not impossible Ferrer beats Roger, but chances are - like with Davy back then - slim.

I had a dream that Ferrer won the match. But they were playing on clay, and it went to 5 sets. And the score in the last set was 99-100, so I dunno.

Davy beating Nadal was nothing rare. I loved those matches, Nadal looked so hopeless and Davy was just abusing him.

    Here's my problem with this:

Davydenko takes the ball on the rise, rips crazy inside out angles and keeps the ball low and flat.

Ferrer is a pitbull, he fights for every point, he's extremely consistent but doesn't have any weapons to hurt Federer while Davydenko's game can present some problems for Federer if he's in the zone.

Therefore I don't see Ferrer winning this one but keep believing that Ferrer will win. Bet on it if you believe in Ferrer so much

If he is then he isnt showing any respect to his oppenent, ferrer is scrappy and always plays well against the top players early on, he usually fades in time tho so i feel he needs to get the first set here to stand a chance of beating fed.

Ferrer going for too much now, this is exactly what Federer wants.

I'm actually quite surprised that David has never managed to win once against Fed. He seems like a player who could trouble the Swiss - gets to many balls, is tough mentally, is extremely consistent off both wings and can run for ages. For some reason he matches up terribly with Fed, though.

Same here, Fed has had his off days and has lost to all kinds of players like Gulbis and Montanes and I am really surprised why Ferrer hasn't beaten him once. Maybe it is a confidence thing with both.

LOL at the Fedards getting worried.

Fed is completely bored out there, not interested, just doing the bare minimal what is required to beat lapdog Ferrer.

You can tell right now federers getting frustrated with having to work very hard for each point. You can tell he's getting annoyed by his slight vocalisations and I see that as a great way for ferrer to get in his mind just retrieving well..

    Ferrer breaks back, 2-3

If federer wants to end this in two, he needs to play way way better, ferrer is hungry to win this.
