This match will probably determine the 1st and 2nd place position in the groups. Who will win?

Trying to maximise audience pull with the BBC showing afternoon matches? You know the BBC will go nuts if they can't put on a Murray match

Djoker in last 3 years in London always win first match in group and lost second!

Beat Davydenko, 2x Berdych (and Tsonga this year), lost to Soderling, Nadal and Ferrer!

Hoping for Djoker in 2 or Murray in 2 (voted for Djokovic in 3 LOL), i don't want to see long match again!

I don't mind if these two players plays two matches in this tournament! :)

This one is so tough to pick, I'm gonna say Djokovic in 3 but it's a wild guess.

I would say Murray in 3 with the home crowd advantage but still I am being too optimistic and hope Murray can wrap it up in 2 so voted for first option ;)

With the entire nation backing the home favourite, AM should come through in 3 sets.

I'm not sure about that. Andy Murray was not very popular in England and Scotland in 2014 will hold a referendum on independence...

Actually kishnabe, Novak surprisingly got a lame reaction tonight.

Someone else has probably already mentioned this elsewhere, but I think if Novak doesn't win this entire tournament it's because he's gone and let his hair get too long. It's several millimeters longer than I've seen it at any point this year. :)

You did mate -I was thinking about you as I read Harman's tweet. I think maybe SKy aren't pushing for it because it would be in direct competition with their own champion's league coverage?

According to an article yesterday, Novak's father is still gravely ill and has been transported to a hospital in Munich in critical condition. That's got to be weighing heavily on his mind.

Excuses already? Look,I hope his dad recovers, but if he were so seriously ill why is Cvac even playing this event instead of being there with him?

Because he's the No.1 player in the world dumbass. He's representing tennis regardless of his dads condition.

Saying that, if his dad WAS about to die, don't think he would be here now, would he?

He hasn't said a word about it. It seems like he's trying to downplay it. I like knowing things that might be going on behind the scenes...mostly because I'm nosy! I'd want to know if Murray had potential troubles on his mind as well.

He a warrior that is why. Not like Nadal who skipped Wimbledon because his parents were having marital problems.

I think you've answered your own question. If his dad were critically ill, Nole would be with him, but papers do like a bit of melodrama. If he's being transferred to a hospital in Germany, it must be reasonably serious, or what's the point. At the same time, he'd have to be fairly stable, or the doctors wouldn't risk a transfer.

It may well be playing on his mind, but it seems he'd rather focus on the tournament, so hopefully he will. Being realistic, you never know what's going on in the private lives of the family and friends of players that might distract them.

I expect tomorrow's match to be tight, but can't predict which way it will fall. I just hope they don't wear each other out before they get to the semis.

For some reason, I see Djokovic winning in 2. I feel Djokovic is determined to prove a point as to why he's the World #1 ranked player right now and will do whatever it takes to win this match.

Based on current form, it is the world No 1 vs world No 2 , Not right in them meeting so early in the tournament.

This should have been the last match of the group at least.

The bounce is low, which suits Murray's slice. The court is slow, which hurts Murray's serve. There is no wind, which suits Djokovic who is more of a shot-maker (compared to Murray, that is). This is London - advantage Murray.

So, a toss-up. Picking Murray just because Djokovic usually plays poorly by the end of each season.

Probably not seriously ill, if he is Djokovic should get out of there.

It must be on his mind, but his record at the WTF is not generally good, so no excuses need to be made if he loses

Picking Murray because I feel the court has suited him more in the past. His slice serves will stay nice and low

Whoever wins this match will probably come out of the group the #1 seed, which means that they will probably face Ferrer in the SF, which is good news for whoever wins this

Home crowd definitely will be strongly behind Murray - certainly was on Monday and will be this afternoon.

    Murra in 2.

Too hard to call, i think whoever wins tho will win in 3 close sets.

I love how people are making the murray wind jokes again, wind hampers every player (including murray) he handles it better, thus he plays BETTER than every other player. By joking about murray needing the wind, you're actually saying "Hey we should make the tennis game harder so murray can prove he's better than you by coping better"

People just like making the wind jokes, it's fun.

No one except F1Bob & members of Djokovic's family actually believe the wind was the decisive factor...

I hope the loser of this match will play the winner of the Tsonga-Berdych match the last round. So either Tsonga and Djokovic win, or Berdych and Murray.
