But it's only the 2nd round, and there are already so many seeded players kicked out. Plus Fed and Murray are both on the other half. I think Djokovic has already secured a place in the final.

Ffs Richard. You suck. Ranked 13 but beaten in straights by the OLD doubles specialist.

While I'm here: LOL Murray and Djokovic have a bunch of injured 3.5s in their draw whereas Federer has to actually has to play pros with pedigree (Lu, Wawa, Cilic can all play ball).

    Positive surprise: Baghdatis beats Raonic.
Negative surprise: Nishikori loses to Querrey.

Damn, Querrey is playing better and better, he might even get into the top 10 if he keeps it up long enough.

PS: More and more am I starting to dislike the "big-servers". Not the players with a big serve like Berdych, Roddick or Delpo, but really the ones with only a serve. Look at the scores of the last matches of Raonic and Isner! That's proof that they relie soly on their serve. Do you think this is normal in tennis? No. They're messing up the whole game. It's almost like cheating. Instead of playing decent tennis, they are taking advantage of the rules: "You can not lose a match if you never lose a service game and never lose a point on your serve in the tiebreak". Really, I think fast serves exceeding 230km/h are great to watch, but not if that's the only thing you've got.

Federer only needs to reach the quarters, or win the quarters to get to 300 weeks?

I stand corrected. "Wrist injury" was doing the rounds on twitter at the time.
Almost losing to an injured Nishikori is not playing well. If you didn't see the match, Kei had a knee injury that really compromised his movement and footwork.

Tsonga and Berdych taking out the trash early, both winning opening sets 6-2 against Baggy and Querrey respectively.

Both looking solid. Even Tsonga's slices are proving effective.

Jo-W played some lovely stuff in that first, but Baggy looked absolutely dreadful.

Sky commentators were spot on when they said he just didn't know how he wanted to play the game - so indecisive.

Those balls won't last very long.

Querrey making a comeback against Berdy.

    Tsonga wins 6-2, 7-6.

Berdy trying to do the same, but is down early in the tiebreak.

Edit: Terrible tiebreaker from Tomas, going to a third.

Berdy wasn't playing well in the second or third sets but got through in the end. He will need to cut down on the simple errors against stronger opponents, Tsonga first and foremost.

Meanwhile, Djokovic wins the first set against Lopez.
