For whatever reason, Verdasco dropped. Gotta make a new pick.

First time ever: You can vote off max. 2 people off the Pick Him Off Your Own Risk list!

2 highest votes will be permanently removed from the list.

I think in terms of fairness, due to his condition, I'll definitely remove Fish from the list (however, I just added him in the poll since he is listed)

    Poll closes on Sunday!

If you voted "Others", please state who you voted for

voted for Gasquet off..majority of the time plays up to his ranking and just gets beaten by better players.

Florian Mayer should be on there imo, somehow gets himself ranked top 20-40 year in year out and can lose to anyone depending on how he feels on the day.

and he's knocked me out at least 4 times from picking for/against him

Davydenko probably doesn't need to be on there anymore. He ain't #4 in the world anymore and will likely never see the top 25 again.

Ryan Harrison blows a 4-2 lead in the 3rd set and I'm out on Day 1 for a 2nd week in a row. I should have known better.

Oh no, I missed this one too! I guess my knee isn't fully healed yet. And also, these courts and balls are horrible! See you in IW I think!

Seriously. When healthy, he's extremely reliable against lower-ranked opponents in early rounds at the big tournaments. Although he's not generally a threat to the top guys (except maybe on grass), he clearly doesn't belong on this list.

Gasquet, on the other hand, is horribly unpredictable and should personify the list. Last year, he caused an exodus at IW despite being up a set and a break, as well as at Wimbledon when facing a clearly inferior opponent. I'm sure there were a few more examples of this that I can't recall because I had the sense to not pick him.

If I can still pick then Ill take Malisse.

I cant decide who to vote off. I thought Gasquet, but it will take weeks for me to trust him now that I think about it.

Yes. For Masters and Grand Slam events, we use pick per days and then from the R16 onwards, it is pick per round.

Can I? I'm a bit confuddled about the format change... in that case, my knee IS healthy and there's no problem with the courts and balls! I'll take Melzer if not too late!

I copy all of the names from the Rotterdam spreadsheet over to the Memphis spreadsheet making the assumption that most people that played Rotterdam will play Memphis.

You can still opt out of the event if you wish

Folks, for those that are awaiting the R1 matches to be completed on Wednesday, I'll let you guys make a R2 pick. Obviously your R2 pick will be voided if you don't make it past R1.

    It doesn't matter I picked already. :)

Surely Gasquet shouldn't be going off the pick at your own list now, seeing how he blew a 5-3 30-0 lead in the final set against Muller? Wawrinka should win the poll with Gasquet disqualified.
