Too early to say, gotta wait for the WTF, and even then it's a tough call. The AO is always the hardest slam to predict, since it's at the start of the year

    Novak or Andy.

    Flip a coin.

    It's Novak :).

Hard to say between the two of them, the only way I see another one winning is if they face each other in the semi and the winner plays the final exhausted, but I'll say: 50% Novak, 40% Murray, 10% someone else.

Probably Djokovic. That event is his baby. I see him winning atleast 5 and cementing himself the greatest Australian Open Player ever. I would already give him the nod if he wins next year, although he, Agassi, and Federer would all have 4 so it would be up to subjective opinion at that point.

Murray second favorite. No reason he cant win there. Has come close in the past.

Nadal third favorite if he comes back in shape. If not Federer third favorite. Either could win in shape and in form, and if they catch Djokovic especialy on an off day.

Nobody else has a hope of more than a semifinal run.

I doubt Fed will win it, and Nadal is uncertain with his injuries and return....Murray or Djokovic, they move the best on the court and are hard court warriors

Yeah, Murray or Djokovic would be my guess at the moment, still a long way to go though.

I'm sure it would be another great final, they've had two monster 5 set matches at this years hard court majors.

Emerson won 6 Australian Championships titles, but they were all amateur only. The first Australian Open was in 1969.

Murray for me. I mean Murray really should've won their AO encounter this year, Djokovic was outplayed for most of the match but he nicked it thanks to Murray's usual choking. But now I expect Murray's choking to be a thing of the past and he'll rattle off some slams from here on out.

    So, Murray for AO 2013.

    Fed gets the WTF.

AO? It's a toss up between Murray and Djokovic.

Nadal and Federer will show up again in the RG and at The Championships respectively.

Then, the USO will crown a new champ, the way Roddick, Hewitt and Safin did. My 2 pence.

Considering Nadal resigned from the ATP Player's Council, he is the comfortable favorite to win the 2013 Australian Open.

Federer salvages his crap 2012 seasons (by his standards) and goes on to win the Australian Open, including every slam in 2013.

Serena Williams will enter the mens draw and win the tournament, after all the men refuse to touch the balls to serve after they have been up Serena's shorts.

Nadal not likely to be match fit by AO. Federer is in there somewhere but can get knocked out in the QF too.

Murray or Nole. I'd give Nole a better chance, Murray had some really bad patches this time and could have got taken out. I see him possibly struggling at AO to reach the final.

If Nadal can come within 7-5 in the 5th set, and Murray can come within 7-5 in the 5th set, why should we trust Djokovic to win the AO? He no longer has a mental edge over either of those guys.

Nadal took a lot of time off toward the end of 2008, and didn't play the World Tour Finals. Then he won the AO. Different deal here but similar. Actually he might play the World Tour Finals (but unlikely).

I just think the world has discovered over the years that Nadal is completely unpredictable.

His 2012 season was better than 2011 or 2010, by far. I don't know why you expect to have an even better season 2013.

Djokovic has the best betting odds, followed by Murray, 7/4 and 7/2 respectively. Federer is the 4th favourite.

John Isner will win it! He will beat Djokovic in the finals, 6-7, 7-6, 7-6, 6-7, 8-6.

Everyone goes by the most recent winner. This is a mistake. You have to look at long term-history to predict the future.

Overwhelmingly the slam winners of past years have been Nadal and Federer. No-one should pick anyone to win this tournament apart from Nadal and Federer, and possibly, Djokovic. Murray, Tsonga, Berdych, Ferrer, Del-Potro...etc... certainly don't have a glimmer of hope.

Current 'form' is utterly useless in predicting anything - slam winning pedigree is everything.

Say that Murray wins every match he plays from now until AO 2013, and Nadal has been losing in the 1st round of every match he's played at until 2013 AO. I'd still pick Nadal as a favorite over Murray, because Nadal has Slam winning pedigree and Murray doesn't. Past accomplishments beat out 'current' form' every time.
