    No, actually I don't.

Just as I dont think it's respectful to yell at your opponents parents, yelling at fans to shut up or curse at your opponent.

Or to bump shoulders with your opponent, and celebrate and scream when you win a 4th set like you won a slam.

    Or countless other examples.

But does that make them pesants or even unclassy as a person because in a moment like that, rush that none of us will probably ever experience they don't have the self control (which is a big part of having class), no absolutely not, at least not IMO.

Insulting them like that, for something as trivial as "the way he celebrates" is very rude.

Also, what's wrong with being a peasant. Living in rural areas. Why do you by default are somehow less educated, worthy or whatever if you live in rural areas and not in cities.

All in all you are one sad and incredibly shallow person.

Djokovic also didn't mention Marko, Djorde, Srdjan, and his Mom individually either. Why does it matter?

What's weird is Murray is following Lendl's career trajectory at slam finals.

Lendl lost his first 4 slam finals. Then won his first slam. Then lost his next 2 slam finals(Murray loses AO final and what if he loses RG final?). Then he won his next 2 slam finals(Murray wins Wimbledon and USO finals?).

LMAO Sue Barker now blaming that feather landing in court for the match turning against him. This is part of reason i can never support Murray. the ridiculous bias for him in the UK is sickening and slightly sad. No offence to decent Murray fans and the man himself is a great player.

Maybe he just double faulted like Djokovic did in the first set? seriously if the feather caused that then anything could be used as an excuse like a player towelling off or having to discard one ball.

I watched the match end to end. It was certainly lackluster compared to other years but I am happy for Djokovic and I liked the effort from Murray even though everyone knew he was done.

Murray didn't want to fight in the 2011 edition...he wilted like a dead flower.

Today he believed even though down 2 breaks....

I would take a spirited completion from both players in a crap final....than just one guy fighting in a crap final.

    Amazing, no?

These are supposed to be the young guns of this generation. One 5 setter along the route, tires them out. I blame the courts.

Sadly it ended with the last hour seeing Murray's serve spiralling down in pace and quality in a fashion no top player should be proud of no matter how much they've played the previous few matches.

His serve dropped off so badly it was embarrassing for him. I would hate to be him tomorrow when Lendl makes him serve 1000 balls while pointing a gun at him. :p

    Boring final, that's my conclusion.

As I said yesterday, if Murray gives Djokovic an inch, he loses this match. When he did so at 0-40 in the first game of the second set, it was a slow descent for Andy and Novak got back up.

And you know what, this was a great chance for Murray but he didn't rise to the challenge even though Djoko was just AWFUL for the first set and a half, he kept spraying errors off his FH like crazy whereas Andy was quite solid all around.

Watching these matches I kept thinking "why the hell don't I enjoy Murray-Djokovic GS matches?" and I think it's because their styles are so similar that it simply gets tedious over time. The only decent Murray-Djokovic GS match for me was their AO 2012 SF encounter otherwise it's simply same ol' until Djokovic gets a foot in the door and it's light out for Andy, who had trouble beating Novak in USO even when he was 2 sets up. Oddly enough, their 2 out of 3 matches are quite good most of the time but maybe that's because they tend to be shorter.

And then I reminded myself why I liked Nadal-Federer more or hell, even Nadal-Djokovic,Federer-Djokovic or Nadal-Murray. It's because Nadal and Federer both bring something special to the table, Rafa has his leftie megaspin and unique intensity, Fed brings that classic allcourter game whereas Andy and Djoko are almost carbon copies of eachother.

They are both righties, both have BH better than their FH IMO, both are terrific defenders and movers even though they can be brilliant on offense as well. The differences are very slight, Murray serves a bit better, Djokovic returns better, Djokovic has a better dropshot and so on.

Congrats to Djokovic for his sixth GS title. Well deserved.

I thing blowing triple match point oppertunities early in the 2nd set proved to be the turning point of the match and helped Djokovic raise his game. His serve disappeared and he couldnt capitalize on numerous 0-15, 15-30s on Djokivic's serve. Each and everytime he escaped and put the presaure back on Murray's serve immensely. Djokovic's shots' length on some crucial points was absolute killer.

Looked to me like Murray's movement was hampered after that MTO at the end of the 2nd set when he had treatment for a blistered foot. He never seemed to move well after that and his groundstrokes declined in quality. I thought then that he had probably lost his chance to win. He needed to keep up the pressure but couldn't do it.

In contrast to the US Open final, Djokovic certainly won the fitness battle this time round. Congrats to him and his team!

Congratulations to Djoker. I fell asleep (didn't have anything to do with the quality of play) in the 3rd set, but I will probably just watch the highlights later.

I really thought Murray would make a better go of it, especially after the first two sets. He really needed that early break in the second.

It was a boring final. And I meant BORING. I hate to say this but gosh Nadal needs to be back asap, Fed can't fight off these guys every single time and sooner or later we get this match up for every hardcourt tournament and the finals will be boring as hell. If this Murray showed up against Fed he would have scraped past even as ********. Anyway the result was just as I expected and congrats to Novak, I suppose winning the marathon against Stan made him the worthy winner, he didn't tear his shirt off so I'm fine with the win.

Congrats to all Novak fans, he was tough when he needed to be.
Andy needed to take his chances, Novak made the most of his.

Thought the match was missing a 5th set but that is all credit to Novak for grinding Andy down & shutting the door. He definitely seems to like it in Australia!

Sorry guys if it was boring, this is tennis now & unless some player attacks earlier in the rallies this is what you will get. Novak built the points better & got in to the net enough to pressure Andy. Andy will be disappointed about lost chances but couldn't dictate enough because of Novak's dominance on serve & return. He will be disappointed he didn't get in more but he couldn't behind such weak second serves & against strong second serves from Novak. You can move forward but if the ball is deep you have to move back again & concede ground.

Bringing Nadal back won't make it more exciting from the style of play viewpoint. He also lives by grinding other players down.

Novak is definitely the Master at this style of play at the moment.

Murray beaten by a better version of himself.

As @namelessone said, Djokovic was not close to his best for the first set and a half and still won the match. And if Djokovic had looked at the 2nd serve speeds for Murray and jumped on a few he would have won even more easily.

No wind, no win - for Murray. Tugging at the back of your leg - sad.

Congrats to Joker on #6 - now it's time to get the Career Slam at RG.
