Is that what I said? I said 'suffering'. She wasn't nervous, it appears she was suffering with anxiety of some kind, panic attack perhaps. The doctors, who were there, said she did the right thing. But you, who weren't, and (I'm assuming) are vastly less qualified medically, have declared without doubt that she didn't.

That's an impressive view of your own opinion.

Li needs to move Azarenka around, she's doing a lot of running so far.

Azarenka's tactic of 'no power, no angle' is unnerving Li at the moment.

Lets see if Li is mature enought shake it off.

An anxiety or panic attack is still mental. An MTO is only allowed for physical injuries. You can't combine 2 MTO's, but you know that right? Yet she was allowed to do so by a stupid umpire.

If someone was paranoid and started imagining things, doctors would call that a medical condition. You can't take an MTO for that. And it was obvious Vika was lying.

Azarenka will be the most unpopular winner ever if she wins this. The Australian crowd is too goo to boor. Just clap quietly while Azarenka misunderstands another interview question.

    Also
“No extra time shall be given to allow a player to recover condition. However, a player suffering from a treatable medical condition may be allowed one medical time-out of three minutes for the treatment of that medical condition.”

How do you treat anxiety? Anxiety pills? Tape? or a good slap in the face. :)

Well, classless behavior from AO audiences is not new.

Regarding the match: there's still two sets left to be played, and for all of the sociopathic behavior on this board about Azarenka, they forget one, lovely thought: she's young, hungry, strong and will be on tour for many years to come. As a self-interesed player, she's won a major and has tasted that success; she does not appear to be of the Vaidisova mind (reitre early for no good reason) or a "shrinking violet"/headcase like Kvitova.

On the other hand, Na will be 31 this year, and as very late bloomer (barely winning a major in 2011), no one should expect her to be cutting through the field for the remainder of this decade. So, for those with some irrational hatred of Azarenka...you better pull up a chair and enjoy the ride, because she will be around.

Bottom line: doctors said she was right to take it. If the umpire got it wrong you should be mad at the umpire.

If player serves a foot fault, you don't call the player a cheater, you would be disappointed with the line judge.

Maybe the above, but more likely a period of time out of the situation causing distress, and some deep breathing! :)

Vika has changed her tactic now.
She gave up on her normal game as it was brutally destroyed every time.
She is basically pushing and moving Li around.

Girl is cooked now, just yesterday she said, about MTO's, "You know, everyone is different. Because for me, I would never use that."

Sorry, but that was a ridiculous thing to say.
