So on clay for sure again...don't like Berdych's chances against Nole there....Czechs would need to beat Tipsy twice and win doubs I assume

Back in front of the tv with Raonic up 4-3 in the second. Surprised both teams have been playing in almost identical red and white. Prefer the Serbia shirt to either red Vasek or Milos have been wearing. While making my rounds, I stopped in at a New Balance store, still no Raonic branded merchandise. Are they waiting to see if he is for real before commissioning a whole line of branded clothing?

Just like the first match, the ball boys/girls aren't as swift as they should be. A few times play has recommenced and they aren't quite settled back in their crouch!

Not sure. Maybe it's because tennis still isn't popular enough for them to be able to sell enough Raonic kits.

Raonic breaks and will serve for the set!

And we're all even! Raonic takes the 2nd set 6-3!

Needless to say, Raonic MUST win this match. If Tipsarevic were to win it would pretty much seal the deal for Serbia. If Raonic wins, Canada has a chance to enter Sunday with a 2-1 lead in the tie if Nestor and Pospisil can win their doubles match on Saturday.

Tipsarevic breaks to take a 2-0 lead in the 3rd. The errors are coming in full force for Raonic.

Milos is so frustrating....he is so inconsistent! Too many unforced! He's already out of the 3rd!

Clutch hold for Raonic, who saved a couple break points. Let's see if he can push to get the break back here.

One thing about Raonic: he's solid as a rock mentally. I guess having one of the biggest serves in tennis helps.

@Ironwood: Did you get a chance to ask someone at the New Balance store about their tennis line? I don't think Raonic has a personalized line of clothing. He just wears New Balance's general line, doesn't he?

Raonic can't let break points slip away like that. Remember watching his loss to Gasquet when he squandered so many break chances. And Tipsarevic walks off before the ball has bounced twice!

Love hold for Raonic. Tipsy to serve for the set now, up 5-3. Can Raonic break back? He's not hitting through Tipsarevic like he was before. Tipsarevic is staying in the rally, which hurts Raonic.

    3rd set to Tipsarevic 6-3.

Raonic basically has to win these next two sets for Canada to have a shot in this tie. It's all over if he loses today.

I did ask.....I went in looking for a new pair of tennis shoes. I'm wearing one of their better shoes I got earlier this summer, primarily because it was close to 50% off. They have the shoe Raonic is wearing, but I wasn't going to pay full retail. The girl I spoke with didn't know much about tennis shoe features and didn't seen to know much about anything else.....so I didn't get any insight into whether there was going to be a Milos line....but I have to expect we'll see one before too long. But no point introducing it on Dec 15!
    Milos just dropped the 3rd.

Raonic getting his ankle taped up. Looks like he tweaked it a bit while retrieving a Tipsarevic overhead. We'll see in this 4th set if it's something he can play through.

I agree with the commentator here. His serve needs to be working for him. He needs the free points and he needs to keep the other points short.

What a botched point by Raonic. He was in total control and it ended in a simple forehand error that could have easily been a winner down the line. Ugh.

Raonic serve...both lst and 2nd. Two summers ago I stood courside on a practice court at the Rogers while Milos was working on both his first and kick second. I've seen a few big serves over the years, but you can't begin to appreciate the pace of that first serve unless you are standing 20 feet away...the only thing better would be to be on the receiving end of it. His kick second was bouncing 10' vertical....almost impossible to take a swing at it except to return as though you were executing your service motion!
Just wish the rest of his game was that exceptional!

Raonic breaks! And what a point to break! That was awesome! Raonic returns the overhead with an overhead winner of his own.

Raonic really tight in this service game. When he gets nervous his movement and footwork is just awful and it was there.

Hold for Raonic. 5-2. What I want is for Raonic to break to take the 4th set and serve to open the 5th.

Relocated to my office desktop....but I'm now watching the match on a 23" flatscreen.....just not the same.
What are they doing watering down the court mid match? Anything to gain an edge. Lets run a Zamboni over the hard court next time we host!

Raonic is playing good, serving great.
Just afraid he's gonna hit a few UE at crucial moments which could give Tipsarevic the win.

Raonic is the most offensive player on the court for sure... Tipsarevic is a wimp as usual ;)

Raonic down 0-30. You sense he knows this is a crucial moment and he might be a bit tight. Hold your nerves, Milos!

Just too many errors off Raonic's racquet. You're not gonna break that way.

5-4 Tipsarevic. Raonic to serve to give Canada a shot at this tie.
