Yes but not a good sign for Delpo ! Boss doesn't need any help! Just hope Delpo can make more of his chances. He is getting some.

I don't think it's the fact that the violation came on BP down, but that it came as Delpo was right about to serve.

Umpire should have notified him of the warning after the point, win or lose

    Weak era
Very entertaining match, some insane hitting from the baseline at times.

Delpo played very well but Novak is just a beast on HC and a terrible match-up for him (it's amazing how well he absorbs pace).

I think this is Novak's 4th Dubai final?

Yay! I'm glad he got a good challenge from DelPo. That should help in the final. Now I have to root against Federer because I had to use him as my QF pick in SDL :(

Judging by that post "adult" is not a term you should ever use.

No polls with separate threads for these matches ?
    I predict Berd in two. 6-4, 7-5

Fed in 2. Berd will win 8 games.

Remember, Tsonga beat Berdych just last week - this Fed can definitely beat Berdych.

You're kidding, right ? I doubt we will see Fed in the form he was in against Davy. Even that won't be good enough against the Berd.

I'm saying Fed in 2 tight ones. That may be more of a hopeful pick, but we'll see. I could easily see a Berdych win, but I can never bet against Fed when he plays someone outside the top 4 (Nadal not Ferrer obviously).

Why would he be kidding. 8 games is a 6-4 6-4 win. Not remotely out of the realm of possibility.

This guy is always such a tough matchup for Roger when he can read his serve well, which has been happening increasingly often over the past few years.

The good: Fed's looking to come in at every opportunity not wanting to rally too much with berd. Serving smartly

    The bad: awful volleying...

He can't be making those errors when he actually returns the serve. First or second.

Federer has come out very agressive which I like, but slicing every break point into the net.

The positive thing is that Federer seems determined to control the match on his terms, he isn't going to let the Berdbrain bully him around the court.

My bad, I read it as 3 games.
Fed blowing tons of breakpoints. If things go as per the script , he will get broken himself after this.

Yeah I didn't mind the 2 he missed at 15-40. But the ad one he got he just dumped the slice.
