can't believe i missed Llodra Vs. Tsonga... watching the replay now...

I was looking forward to a potential Tsonga Vs. Berdych rematch after Marseille, but Llodra Vs. Berdych should be fun too... Almost 90s style match-up: S&V vs. flat hitting baseliner!

Brands SP against Youzhny. Would be a great win here for him, he's never got past R16 in any ATP 500 (or higher) event.

Although don't listen to me, I never get anything right.

Brands takes it in 2. Really good result for him - likely to be del Potro next, who he pushed hard in Wien last year; was the best I've ever seen him play.

Has a chance of a SF place I think.

I think Llodra will take Berdych out... it will be a 90s style match. fast courts, big hitting, volleys vs baseline bashing... bring your pop-corn!

Djokovic has to be favourite. Federer hasnt been playing that well by his standards and unless he raises his game cant see him winning the title.

Depo just took the first set against Devvarman 6-4...

Why doesn't Devvarman try to grind him out from the baseline for a few points? Extend rallies.

Anyone knows something about this Batistuta guy? :)

I think he played one final this year.

    Djokovic needs to be careful....

Batistuta was a former argentinian striker, nick-named "Batigol". He has reconverted in a successful tennis player since retiring form football.

Clearly those pointing Batistuta out to you couldn't recognise El Shaarawy.

    Berdych will destroy him.

Be careful, Granollers can be very dangerous

On the contrary. People who root for young sportsmen are likely to be young themselves and might not know former players.

This goal from Zlatan was better http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZgqsaDnsEq8.

Bautista Agut won't win today, but he'll be dangerous all year like Janowicz.

He and Jerzy made the biggest leaps. Jerzy made like a 140-150 rank leap, and Bautista Agut made a 100 ranking leap. Both can make bigger leaps this year because neither have points to make up till really late in the year(although JJ's can come crashing down if he goes out early in Paris)

Federer just won the first set against Granollers faster (26 min) than the first two games between Davydenko and Tipsy yesterday (29 min). :)

At work, so no YouTube for me either. But are we talking beating a whole team, faking the keeper then slotting home with his left? Love the Zlat.

The potential matches look like a lot of fun!
    • Brands vs. Delpo
    • Davydenko vs. Federer*
    • Seppi vs. Djokovic*

Brands has a fun game and is a big server. Nikolay and Roger's matches are always fun to watch.

    * Pending expected wins in their current matches.

Brands' game is wide open for a shellacking if Fed's on his game. Big serve, hits everything like he's slaying dragons, and gets cracked by anyone with patience.

    Federer's serve is pretty amazing.

Rafa has a more conservative serve, he plays high % with lots of spin and rarely faults. Also, is a lefty so it it trickier even thought it isn't as fast as some other big servers.

Often you'll see Rafa serve 75-80% to his opponents backhand on both sides of the court, then when he serves to the forehand it is a surprise and he gets free points. Clever. He uses what he has.
