How about Cvac's win in Canada last year? Now that was one of the biggest joke draws I have ever seen.

To be fair mate, it's the same with everyone in here. Fedards/Nadards/Murraturds all celebrate and take it too far when their hero's face each other.

I mean damn, the reactions after Murray beat Djokovic in the USO. Totally uncalled for.

about beating "3 of the top 4", federer (while being himself #2) did it more recently at the WTF 2010, defeating successively #4 (soderling), #3 (djokovic) and #1 (the nadal)... and you can also add #5 (the muzzette) to the beginning of the list. ;)

about beating "the top3", becker also did it at stockholm 1994.

Too bad, you would have almost gained some credibility if you also included *********** in your list.

Yeah while the only reason you post on the forum is to gush on Federer 24 7. There is absolutely nothing you post or talk about not somehow related to Federer. Once he retires I guarantee you will dissapear faster from here than a squirrel from a yard filled with cats.

C'mon Dude, it's TW we are talking about. Each camp does it when their favorites win. Heck, Rafa was not even playing for seven months and the wins Fed/Djoker had were put on the Rafa fans' faces.

YOU should know that by now. You are not new here in TW. Am sure Fed will win another Big One by beating Rafa, and you can do wht you must, esp against Veron........

Well hey, at least I don't make dumba** predictions only to look like a complete fool weeks/months later. Some of your failures here have risen up to epic status.

See? The only reason "we" do it is because SHE does it. I could live with Nadal winning titles if it wasn't for her celebrating like a dou**e all the time.

Nadal's never beaten Ferrer in a hardcourt Slam. Got to give Ferrer some credit.

So, you can't live with Nadal winning titles because of her?

LOL what a load of crap, you can't live with Nadal winning titles because you hate him and we all know why. If Rafa bent over every time he faced Fed like every other lapdog did, Nadal would not even be a problem for you.

I hope you realise you can put people on ignore, I'm sure there's an option for that on this website. It's simple really, but instead, you buzz around like a fly around a cow's arsehole.

Ferrer actually has been owning Del Potro as of late. Wimbledon was a massacre as was their other meetings on clay and hardcourts.

This coming from you of all people, LOL!

Oh please. You make more dumbass predictions than anyone except a couple of your fellow worst ****s like DropShotArtist (the banned DjokovicFakeFanWin) and TMF. Crowning Nalbandian was going to spank Nadal in a tournament final on clay about a month ago, hahaha. The worst prediction I supposably made was Djokovic not winning Wimbledon, and that is the best you and a few of your fellow **** fools can get on me, so lame, haha.

If Del Potro carries that same aggression, belief and adrenaline into the final, it's going to be a very difficult proposition for Nadal.

By THIS you mean what? You being the most biased poster here is calling me for being based? OH STAHP IT!

Name one (which wasn't blatant trolling). What do I care about DropShotArtist and TMF btw - because I'm in the same camp doesn't mean that I agree with them on everything.

Also, I hate prancing but since you're so into proving how better you know tennis - I'm in the top 500 (out of 20.000 participants) in the ATP Fantasy draws which means I know my stuff. If you wanna prove how much smarter you are - make your own picks for Miami and let's see how far you get.

I'm sorry is any of these my predictions? Once again - what do I care about something I never said?

    This seems right.
DelPo just beat the winners of the last two hard court slams.
Both of them are better than Nadal on hards.
Some are picking Nadal though anyway.

Nadal will win it in 2 sets.

Nadal last two matches were easy compared to Delpo's draw.

    Nadal in 2.

Murray has been awful all tournement so it was no suprise he lost to a player who's in form. Djokovic had a mental collapse against Fognini and almost did the same against qurrey. He has looked far from his best too and lost to the better player currently.

Nadal however has looked solid all tournement and is playing as good as Del potro is and demolished Federer, Del potro might push him to a tie break in the first set but i dont see him having any answers to Nadal's court speed.

Yeah... true lol i did watch the match and he played really poor but i still think Nadal put him out of his misery more than Federer collapsed and handed the match to him. Y'know?

I want Delpo to win the final but i just dont see it happening.

Yes but thats an entirely different matchup mate, I was talking about Ferrer and Del Po vs Big 3 ;)

Coming to the match, my prediction is Nadal in 3. Del po is 6.6 and his backhand is fairly consistent so I think it will hold up well against Nadal's spin but I don't think he would have enough in the tank to last 3 sets.

I can't really predict this one. Nadal seems most convincing to me but his wins were against relatively opponents (injured Federer, and Nadal's pet Berdych). DelPo on the other hand, beat the #3 and #1 seeds..

Well after what he has done so far I do have to give him full credit. But he is going to have to bring more than adrenaline to beat rafa.

Regardless Rafa has done much better than I would have thought wether he wins or loses tomorrow, but he has handled delporto pretty well in their last meetings even on hard. And now that rafa is in the final he is going to be really tough to stop

Well we do know that Federer is obviously capable of giving Nadal all sorts of hell even in defeat. Federer didn't want to fight. He fought last year at Indian Wells and the WTF. Heck he even fought Nadal much tougher on clay. Even if Nadal would've beaten Federer, it would've been a much tougher match IMO.

I'm guessing that you are aware that Nadal and Del Potro have met on hardcourts only once in the past 4 years, right? And that was against a Del Potro in Spring 2011 fresh from a 1 year hiatus due to his severe wrist injury.

I remember when Nadal made the finals of Miami 2008 after an impressive run. Davydenko was in the form of his life and only had 1 racquet in his bag. He devoured Nadal like it was a practice session in that final.
Do I respect that Nadal is in the finals? Absolutely! Do I think people should be scared stiff of him and that he's unstoppable in the finals? HECK NO!!!! Did you see what Andy Murray did to him in the finals of Tokyo 2011? Nadal won 4 points in that 3rd set.
Nadal is notorious for either giving up or just not fighting for it off clay.

Nadal also gave up at Indian Wells final in 2011 in that 3rd set against Djokovic. He gave up against Davydenko in the finals of Miami 2008. He laid an egg in the final against Murray in Tokyo. He took a crap against Nalbandian in the finals of Paris 2007.
Nadal isn't the warrior off clay as we'd like to think. He's literally given up against opponents. There's no reason to believe the same won't happen tomorrow if Del Potro suddenly comes at him with brute force. It's not like Del Potro hasn't blasted him off the court before.

2009 DelPo was a beast and he hit him off the court at the USO, a traditionally fast HC. This is IW and the ball's kicking up like the clay. DelPo won't be able to handle Ralph's BH abuse.

This just had to be quoted. It's so true.

As for this final, I'm undecided who I think will win. Regardless of the result I think it's quite an achievement that Nadal has managed to make 4 consecutive finals since his comeback, especially since there were so many doubts about his form in Chile and Brazil, he has managed to improve his level throughout these tournaments, just one month ago he could barely beat a player who had a losing record on the challengers circuit and is now beating players in the top 10. His movement and speed is still hindering him and it's obvious he still has trouble with his knee, but it's good to see he is determined and motivated to win.

I know some opponents weren't playing very well, but credit has to be given to Nadal for winning these matches.

Anyways I'm happy for whoever wins tomorrow as I like both players, but will be rooting for Nadal.

Nadal has been playing aggressive more often than not lately and imo this is what is helping him on HC.

I just hope he doesn't try and go defensive against Delpo tomorrow and wait for him to run out of gas, I want to see these two going toe to toe playing aggressively.

Whoever wins has pulled one of the greatest things I've seen in tennis (pains me to say cause I don't like Nadal)

I think it will be Nadal in straights 7-5 6-4
