to get this back on track for indoors:

UVA over Ohio St 4-1 or 4-2
winner of USC/UCLA dubs pt takes it 4-2 or 4-3, and i'm calling USC to grab it

This Kentucky team seem to have real good team chemistry. but drops the doubles point against good Georgia team.

winner of the USC/UCLA doubles point has gone on to win the match every time except once since 2008. that being last year when the bruins upset usc 4-3.

Lai is a very good player. Murra should not play in the top 6 again when they have Lai.

You have to wonder if coaches are playing games in this tournament. Maybe not wanting to show their hand to much before outdoor season. Especially with the conference matchups. A&M sat Withrow out today which probably cost them the match vs Tennessee.

UVa-Duke highlights are up at UVa. They even posted some good points by Duke, for some odd reason. :)

I was disappointed that Georgia didn't put out Marco Nunez at #6 singles this weekend. I know he didn't have the most impressive fall but he was a top 50 junior so he's got to have some talent. We basically gave away that spot all weekend.

haha, well the reason that i can admit even if i can't wait for duke to beat you guys one of these days is that your progam is all class, nice comments from jenkins as well in that video

i think both programs like having eachother around - duke has a guaranteed couple matches a year as a measuring stick against the nation's best - uva needs someone in conference to push them, and few have been up to that task in recent years

Too much UVA/Duke love in here. What are you guys, SEC football fans!? The ones who join together after a game in a group circle and chant SEC win or lose?

not quite that far - i'd rather uva continue with their NCAA dry spell until forever, as much as i'm glad a program like that is in our conference

clemson on the other hand may wish the conference was lacking some big dogs so they could compete, but oh well

i think giron may clinch this for ucla some hour or so from now - hell of a match

edit - stopped paying attention for a minute on his court, looks like he may even win in straights now, so nvm

Novikov and Puget sharing the same bench on changeovers instead of Dennis sitting on the same side as Sarmiento. Kind of strange.

yep, this is why i assume peter smith is just an awesome relaxed guy to play for, 90% of these close dogfight matches his guys just seem to believe in themselves and start hitting the big shots in the clutch

meanwhile giron starts shanking and looking at his racquet like someone misstrung it - totally different body language out there right now

That was a hell of a finish - I thought after Quiroz choked his service game away at 5-4 that he'd fold. Not so though

Looks like we're finally getting our close, tight matches today. I think this UVA/OSU match is going to be a good one too.

I'll take Ohio State in dubs and Rola in singles. Domijan, Frank, Styslinger, and Ryan Shane for UVA with OSU up on 6 when UVA clinches.

what a match from usc and ucla. crazy to think that these two teams will play each other at least 3 more times this season guaranteed (home, away, pac12 tourney), maybe 4 if they meet again in ncaas. 5 times in one year would be bonkers considering how close these teams play each other.

Great match for USC over UCLA. There were certainly some off match predictions in this one on both sides. Smith is one heckuva coach, these guys deliver when needed.

Gotta give a shout out to Nordstom Tennis Center - the video streaming was best quality I've seen out there. Then again, the name is Nordstrom. I don't sweat the scoreboard being behind or not showing points if we can watch great video.

Buckeyes take the doubles point - not the biggest shocker though. Biggest thing to see will be if Ille Van Engelen plays singles. He hasn't played singles in about 3 weeks and I have a feeling they've been holding him out for a match like this. If he plays and is healthy enough you'd have to favor him over Ryan Shane. Would change the complexity of the match.

In a forgotten match, Duke takes the dubs point over Pepperdine in a TB at 2.

    i think uva still wins

rola may make it 2-0 osu
and i think only one of the shane brothers pulls it out - maybe ryan if i had to guess - other loses to give osu its third point

but, domijan and mac will win, and i think frank wears down his opponent in three

    we shall see

    ------

duke should win easily due to depth if cunha is actually playing but tough to know without video

nope, but there's no excuse for the combination of cunha getting down 5-0 and guys with the talent of redlicki and mengel getting breadsticked at 3-4 spots

fortunately we should only need 1 of the top 4 spots, even if saba can't keep up the good work someone else should turn it around
