Delpo's BH has impressed me the most this week. We all know how dangerous his FH can be, but his BH has been really solid all week.

Damn this sucks, sports are cruel. Why can't Benneteau just win a 250 already? How hard can it be if he keeps on playing like this?

Can see delPo in top 4 by year end. Which is a bit premature.

But can see him winning one if IW/Miami or...maybe MC? And getting to the final of a grand slam this year.

He is very good but I think he comes short in terms of movement. That's probably why he can't beat Ferrer, he hits great angles and exploits Delpo's movement.

Yup. Some good consistency, but also some big clutch winners on that side.

i really think julien needs to mix things up... try coming in, slicing or doing something. this opportunity is running away from him...

Yeah but come on, there are lots of tournaments with weak draws, which would increase his chance. Robin Haase has won Kitzbuhel twice in a row and Benneteau is at least just as good as Haase.

Well done Delpo, it's always nice to see him win something with all the effort he puts in. :) Unlucky for Benny, but Delpo was just simply too good today.

    He's 31.

But Haasi, who is also in a final today, is 34.

Picked delpo to win the tournament from the start but ironically didn't see any of the tournament. How well was he playing?

Serving wonderfully. Seems to have a lot of the confidence back that appeared to have left him during AO time.

This is just the start of a busy time for him - he's supposed to be competing in Marseilles, Dubai, IW, and Miami. So I hope he doesn't burn himself out or overfatigue before he has a chance to achieve whatever his ranking goals are for this part of the season.

thank you. Good to hear. I did think playing indoors would help him get into his groove again. hope he doesn't burn out like you said. maybe he should concentrate on dubai and the masters.

was painting the lines... very impressive. it is a testament to Julien that he broke him twice and gave him a good fight.

Painting lines, hitting clean as a sheet, good shots right at Julien's feet, great aggression, lots of winners.
